Ok, please, for us that never had a laser. How safe it is to have the diode laser? Are the protection glasses a must, because the laser have the plastic protection around it and do we even need to consider buying it without the enclosure for the smoke? Also, these are chinese lasers so, how much the quality vary between each laser?
This is a Year old so you've probably found the answer already but for those who might still find this- I have the expansion kit. They do work with the expansion, the expansion includes longer cords so that you can use them the same way. Hope this helps someone ;)
I tried Xtool D1 Pro and Atomstack X20 Pro, the laser power is the same. But the sculfun has a better solution of the air assistant nozzle and the automatic switching on of the compressor, which results in better cutting.
@@kukomio thanks, that’s really valuable info. You should make a comparison with pros/cons over some 20W, there’s no such thing yet and these machines are in everyone’s focus right now.
Hello. With the Sculpfun S30 Pro Max, could acceptable engraving be made on thermoses, glasses and mugs? I have seen some videos of laser (diode) engravers and the engraving I have seen does not please me very much. I know the rotary axis is needed. Thank you very much

20 watové lasery kroré sú dostupné na trhu a ktoré som skúšal sú sculpfun, xtool a atomstack (ceny od 950€).Myslím, že sculpfun je dobra voľba -silná hlava a dobre vyriešený vzduchový asistent s malým a šikovným kompresorom.
Do not tie the air pump cable with power and USB cable together? because when you come to actually use the air pump in LightBurn, it shuts down the laser when air pump come on.
By end stop do you mean limit switches? If so I used some simple ones from an old 3D printer I had and searched the net to ensure I connected them correctly to the motherboard. It worked great after a bit of trail and error. I routed the wires via the original trunking

J’ai vérifié la tension de mes courroies (bien tendues) et je ne trouve pas de solution à mon problème. Par exemple pour faire un simple cercle le laser va dévier et faire une spirale en escargot avec un trait en escalier. Merci à tous de votre assise si vous avec la solution.

It is not a replacement lens, only a protective glass in front of the lens. If it is cleaned regularly, it does not need to be changed at all and will last a long time. I'm not sure with uprade the laser module to 20W (S30 Pro Max), because SCULPFUN S30 Pro(10w) has a 12V power supply and SCULPFUN S30 Pro Max has 24V power supply
