    I bought a 2015 QP two months ago and have done 7000 miles in it since (my weekly commute is 1000 miles). Only issue to date was a blown lightbulb. Maserati wanted £210 just for the xenon bulb. I bought one in a local motor factors for £30 and fitted it myself for free. So far so good, you only live once so my recommendation is go ahead and buy one and if you don’t like it you can sell it in to the next guy who has also had it on his bucket list for a few years 👍

    I have a 2014 Quattroporte S. bought it 1,5 years ago with 77000 km done. So far no issues, except a minor leak in the steering column. Love this car. There’s no better looking (and sounding!) sedan if you ask me!

    Buying a used Maserati is like buying a used luxury boat. The cost of the vehicle is almost incidental, it's the maintenance that breaks the bank and there's no such thing as Maintenace free in the used luxury market. That said, I'm about to go look at a used Quattroporte. It's a love/hate relationship. LOL.

      The good part is you save so much money on the initial price that you should have plenty left over for maintenance and issues

    If you're willing to do your own maintenance and do a little research on all the shared parts with Fiat-Chrysler it might be a doable proposition. Key thing would be to find a low-mileage example where someone's done the maintenance. With aspirational cars, usually by the time it gets cheap and to the third or fourth owner is where adherence to maintenance schedules starts to suffer.

    I bought a 2009 Maserati QP Executive GT since new n it now has 56k miles on it...i still have it, i still love it.
    I not poor n fixed EVERYTHING on my Maser QP. I dont think Maserati has anything particularly bad maintenance record or anything weird needing fix; everything needing fix hav been like any of my other cars...BMW, Porsche, even Honda, Toyota. The problem is Maser production is very small in comparison; Toyota makes millions of Camry but my Maserati QP production number is abt 20,000. There are just very few of us Maserati owners shouldering the cost of maintenance.
    Having said that, i changed out the engine cooling system, variator, suspension bushings, engine mounts, upgraded the stereo, no expense spared.
    I love my Maserati QP with its amazing design, sound, the way it drives. 💖👍

    If you have the older F136 4.7L V8 with about 420hp I feel like it HAS that Italian character. While it still has ancient infotainment just having the now bottomed out depreciated car is a sweet deal for a proven motor! Also I’m finding out the new 3.0L twin turbo has dual port fuel and direct injection. I’m also a fan of ZF transmissions they use. I’m also researching about skyactive suspension alternatives. They really are nicer and more reliable cars these days. Starting to open my eyes a bit more

      So a new Corolla is great def a top tier car I recommend in today's economy but many people hate the CVT in that.. who knows how that will perform with mileage. Other than that, seems great.
      I just did a buyer's guide for the 2013-2018 ES 350, surprisingly solid car, not too many crazy issues. One of the few used luxury cars I would recommend without a warranty, same with the 2013 and up Avalon.
      But glad the content was valuable my friend I do my best to cram as much info into these videos as I can.

    • @MeynMotorGroup
      @MeynMotorGroup  11 месяцев назад +6

      Not a bad idea actually these things are pretty affordable with high mileage just keep it as a trophy on the driveway. But a lot of people want to pull up and flex at the valet of an olive garden. Sadly they can't do that unless they drive it
