QUESTION: Was Sergio Pérez's upcoming three-place grid penalty for driving back to the pits in Canada with a significantly damaged Red Bull car too harsh? We'd love to know what you think!
Different question, did Charles Leclerc get a penalty in Japan 2019 when massive chunks of the car flew straight onto the halo and mirror of Lewis Hamilton? Or did Ferrari just get a fine after they ignored direct race director's orders? Charles also followed team orders like Sergio did. Did this race director in this race give a simular order that Michael Masi gave Ferrari at the time? Compare both situations and there lies the answer you want without being biassed. As far as we could see he didn't put anybody in danger. And in my honest opinion F1 these days has become a kindergarten class with complete BS penalties galore especially this season. Then present a complete shitbox for the next era... so F1 is going down the tubes if you ask me.
I think the question be, is the penalty for Red Bull telling Checo to continue back to the pits a harsh enough penalty. F1 should take away Red Bulls points from the race. That would be a penalty. Sergio only did what he was told to do.
Because Daniel race Wins brings sponsors money many fans people love his smile team want him? Marko dickhead sign Prerz’s or Lawson hehe go Daniel 2025😂
The penalty should be a DQ for Spain. What RBR did wasn’t dangerous, it was cheating. A safety car could have cost them the win and that’s why they had him do what he did.
@@johnmorris6113Liam is Helmut’s guy. Daniel and Checo are “dickhead” Horner’s guys which is why he has them. Both Yuki and Max are loyal to Helmut Marko. Horner is doing all he can to maintain some loyalty being that it’s obvious that there is heavy division within that program. Maybe not at the lower levels of staff including mechanics and engineers, but at the leadership level that team is not on the up and up. Bottom line is, Daniel is only still there because of his personality and loyalty to Horner. If it was anyone else they’d be replaced by now. Same story for Checo. He pays for his seat thru his sponsors and merch sales. Performance wise, Sainz was a far better option for challenging max. But this team (Horner) is doing all / he can to keep Max from bailing out.
Audi should sign Lawson as their #2 driver
I like your way of thinking, Lawson does well in any car. He out drove Albon in DTM with the Red Bull Ferrari.
Hmmm interesting... Never even given that a thought...
Best to give the young guns a chance than to give vets with lesser results a stay
They're still holding out for Sainz. If Sainz goes to Williams, then Lawson would be a good pick.
Audi guy. That would be awesome.
I love how liberty media is looking for box office success and they still turn down Michael’s team with Cadillac.
Sports been around for 50 plus years. the US gets Drive to survive and suddenly realize F1 is actually the peak of motorsport and of course they should have a team. Andretti or any other American team can buy one of the existing team. Audi (VW Group) did it so why cant Andretti and GM
Guenther is a joke, his only claim is that he ran the worst F1 team in the 2010's and became a Netflix star.
Lawson and Tsunoda need to get out of RB grip
Talented kiwi driver Liam Lawson definitely deserves a full time drive.... But will he get one????
I think the most important thing is to sort out circuits which do not have good, sufficient drainage for storms.
"Gone will be DRS" i thought it was Master Yoda speaking for a second.
They didn’t give Nyck DeVries a chance so why is Ricardo still in the car, Lawson should be in that car now.
Cause Horner loves him.
Yuki should be replaced with Lawson, everyone knows he's not red bull material. Honda pay driver..
@@mh518he’s a good driver and has proven it by his results this year. Your comment is pure ignorance.
Red bull should pay to place Liam in the Alpine or something on loan.
For real no logic behind that comment@@4rdF1Hunny
I feel like the Pourchaire story was really minimized. What was left unsaid was Canapino calling Pourchaire a "son of a whore" over team radio in Spanish, denying that Pourchaire received any death threats, and McLaren ending a relatively new commercial partnership they had started because of a lack of response from Canapino and Juncos. Canapino has since claimed to be taking time off for "mental health" but it seems like his time in Indy is done since this seems to be a pattern with both him and his largely Argentinian fan base.
1) The Slim family/Telcel 'Blank Check' sponsorship Checo brings is the kind of money that would matter to ANY team. 2) Who would you realistically replace Perez with? No top driver with a teaspoon of brains in his skull is going anywhere near that car! It's like "Career Leukemia". They used to be fine but now their career has a potentially terminal disease caused by getting their lunch taken by Max, so damn always. So who's left, that would be better? Esteban Ocon's obviously looking for a ride ...🤣
Sainz would've been the perfect partnership (on paper) and not to mention his Toro Rosso days with VER, but RBR is not looking to repeat Multi 21, RIC/VER in Baku '18, etc. They want a proper #2 like what Barrichelo did for Michael, or Bottas for Hamilton.
Well checo didn’t do anything intentionally or crash in someone else car or provoked a red flag? The conditions of his car was bad and the track won’t help at all but he gets the worst penalties…other drivers have done worst, I think checo should come to America where everyone will love him and feel safe and happy.
Sauber: HUlkenberg with lawson
VCRB: Tsunoda with Antoneli
Haas: Ricciardo with Berman
hahah this was so funny
If they only signed Checo to the RBR team and not to be piloting the 2nd car then problem solved. Put a reserve driver in the #11 car.
Come on Lighting Liam!!
So Steiner is italian now???? 😂😂😂
He's always been Italian, he was born there 😛
Horner has a crunch with ricardo and perez.
I’m sure the affair he had with an employee, was with one of them, or both.

lewis won more titles than anyone in the sport?? What about Shumacher. That's the OWNER of F1 talking. So clueless.
In the sport “today” is what he said.
Such a dumb statemement. Max won more races in the sport at the Canadian GP...... today.
Lando is the most successful driver in the sport..... today at Miami this year.
11th place in F2 and he gets an F1 try out. Am I missing something?
Logic dictates that Mercedes has Albon and Ocon as practical options...
There are too many drivers still viable...not enough room for the feeder series...
at this point its so obvious and laughable that the people getting a seat in f1 are seldomly the best drivers available, p11 in the standings and doing testing. And Checo...
Signing Perez for two more years wasn’t RB’s best move.
I'd love to see Mick back in F1, he's on Renault/Alpine's books and is or at least was Merc's test/reserve driver. Why he isn't being mentioned by Merc for the 2nd seat seems strange to me, he's raced in the sport already albeit in a back of the grid team with no upgrades or investment, he knoes the team and facilities already and he knows the car and the sim setup, whereas Kimi is going to have to learn all of that and get up to speed instantly and then the regs change the following season possibly making much of what was learnt useless, it just seems like a steep curve and an unnecessary risk to me but risks are sometimes rewarded... I guess we'll see
Have the F1 licence rules changed and you no longer need 40 points to get an F1 seat because Antonelli who's never driven in F3 and only half a season in F2 ?
He's gained enough points by winning multiple other championships I believe
Too many Mexicans would stop drinking Red Bull if they drop Sergio.
Who could drive Max's car? It's his style but it's a rare diving style to to to maximize results from.
@@kevinlaguna2023 it's not "his style." This is a myth.
@@quigglyz I don't think Max's driving style is best suited for anyone on the grid, who's your best example excluding Alonso?
F1 needs to stop simping for Greta. Nobody wants more electrical power, there is formula E for that and that has a drop in the ocean fan base in comparison to F1 or Indy for good reason..... Just bring back the V8.
Guenther say that about Mick seems like definmation and an attempt to stunt Micks career.
Remember, HAAS under his watch never really presented any car that was F1 worthy. I mean, Guenther should have been binned after the 2016 season.
Couldn't agree more.
Men love the past but can t handle a little girl. Please leave f1 if you don t like it, you propably never heard an f1 car
Mate F1 is the pinnacle of Motorsports... that means the cars have to be the best technology in the world. Otherwise, they wouldn't be called f1, and why v8, they're slower than the v6 turbo cars they got now.
@@ahrengipperich141 F1 being the pinnacle is what we're told but I'd argue that the WEC is the pinnacle given not only the tech but the duration of each race. Sure the V6 may be faster but its not just about the raw speed unless you attend every event in person. Telly speed isnt able to be portayed in the same way as audio.
All this new just bring back the v10
This sustainable fuel shit needs to go. It's a net increase in pollution to make that corn juice crap. Plus, moving this circus around the world and not doing it region by region, as would make sustainable sense, just tell us it's a marketing scam.
The Net Zero shit has to go...
Perez is only at RB because Max wants a weak and easy to dominate team mate
Sergio might not last 2 years.
The death of f1! At least we had a good run. 👍
Sargeant is just not good enough
everything Checo says starts with "WE", NO Checo, its YOU that has lots of work to do. as far as Liam goes, he should go to williams or Audi depending on what Sainz does.
I think anyone else does just as bad unless you're Alonso honestly. I think Daniel at the same seat will struggle as well
Liam should go to Racing Bulls Daniel is past his prime
USA driver are too slow for f1
Schumacher is a f2 champion
He's gone ..
Lawson didn't outshine anyone, he had some fortunate results.
Can we just forget 'net zero', 'sustainability' and other monikers that have 'net zero' to do with racing cars? F1 is about to become as boring and as irrelevant as driving Prius' around the track. We have that - FE. Some people and manufacturers love and embrace it. All power to them, but FFS, let F1 be about screaming engines, huge tyres, wings, and balls of steel? I'd even advocate for the return of h-pattern 'boxes. None of the current crop, bar one or two, would have ever driven a racing car with a h-pattern.
N Lauda was quite prophetic with his 'you could put a monkey in these cars' comment, and that was years ago.
Guenther is a clown so don't take anything to head he says
AI rubbish narrative
Fire that ai voice. It's awful.
Lock tRump up! Put the liar away forever!

The woke F1 speech at the end.
Liam Lawson didn't win f2 championship his a looser
Are Sergio Pérez going to drive in F1 in 2026? I doubt... What do you think?
No ofcourse not
