- I've never replaced a timing chain before so this is a massive challenge, especially on a neglected 1.2 tsi engine.
Hopefully, I can pull it off and actually fix the engine faults, The EPC and Engine light are on, but The engine has a misfire, Is the timing chain stretched or is it knackered.

If you take the broken bits to Halfords they’ll replace for free on the Halfords advance lifetime guarantee. Love the content very interesting 👍
Yeah I have done it in the past with no problems but I don't think they will replace missing ones LOL, thanks for the advice though that's one of the good points of Halfords advance sets they last a lifetime.

Have you checked the PCV valve? Can cause rough running and water build up in head. Just a thought. :)

I taught halfords advanced tools are lifetime warranty if there broken bring them back an they will replace them
yeah they do replace broken ones I did a video before on taking my broken ones back. but they wont replace lost ones lol

The idiots who use too much silly cone . it breaks off and blocks oil galleries . cheers

These engines do not cope with infrequent oil changes. Hope you’ve caught this one.
How often would you change the oil on one of these
