Best review I’ve ever seen. I’m loving it 😂 This is just how I used to be when I worked in the motor trade. I so wanted to go out front and tell customers they were about to buy a Terd😂 Keep up these honest vids You’re great at it. Made my day 😁
I know this video is a bit of a laugh but I’ve got a 72 plate petrol 95hp polo. Absolutely love it, 55+ mpg on motorway and has got a great driving feel. I’d recommend buying used obviously. I plan to look after it and run it into the 100k miles.
I’m fairly sure petrol tsi 1 litre all use cam belts… so no timing chain issues 😂 I have the polo 1 litre TSi 95 model, it’s a great car pulls really well and very good on fuel.. ☺️
I heard the belt driven are EA211 engines which is on Polo from 2015 onwards...what are the issues if i go for a japanese import 2014 1.2 tsi (normal/bluemotion) automatic with 50000-65000 km mileage? Any idea? Here in Ireland, 2015 models are way expensive...please assist if you have any clue..
I learned my VW lesson a few years ago, in the form of a new 2006 Leon 2ltr TDI 140 bhp the worst car I have ever owned by miles one of its many surprises was going into limp mode when overtaking on a motorway. Seat wanted me to fork out for a new turbo {£700) at the time, took it to an independent specialist who did a repair for £20 and said get shot of it, this happened in and around it's forth year. In the end my wife refused to ride in it for anything more than a short trip, never been near a VW since, and I'm still hearing the odd sob story of regret.
mine make a weird noise when i start the engine and vibrates in a weird way till rev counter is below 1 then everything sound fine. should i be worried?
Awesome review 😂. By the way is there any way to stop that shitty plastic air intake thing to stop vibrating ? I changed it at the dealer on warranty but it keeps doing the same noise. It makes the inside of the car feel like brrrrrrrrrrrrRrrRrRrrr.

Depending on the year that isnt a 67BHP engine its a 90-95PS or a 110-115 PS engine. The mpi engine which my mother has is 75ps (1.0) we steered clear of the 60PS version it was more gutless. Touch wood its 8 years old now and again touches wood it has no problems.
What is a mark 6 model? I wanted to look at VW polo 2016 1,2 tsi dsg. What your opinion on that model? Is a VW up 2017 asg a better choice for less problems?
I'm at my wits end with my 2002 polo 1.4 9N. No one is able to fix it. I have no idea why they are popular here in South Africa. I'm sorry I bought it.

Is it better to buy the mpi engine or the tsi ?
Don’t bother with the mpi engines, very underpowered. Mpg is fairly similar between the two engines

Something as mine

Thanks for the info mate I was thinking of getting one , not now .👍
I have a 1.2 polo tsi it's starte and idle nice but no acceletion
Should i buy 1 litre tsi?? What is its life expectancy
Yes, if you can live with very low fuel efficiency. 1.5 TSI would be a better buy, gets better gas mileage and doesn't struggle on the inclines.
How about 1.2 bluemotion diesel
Bunch of bull...I've got the 9n gti , and the one you're speaking about, I've got 3 of them and nothing is wrong with them
The belt driven engines seem a lot better than the chains but they are ridiculously overpriced
I agree
