I'm heavily invested in the Skil 12v PwrCore platform. I started with the 5 tool set with drill, impact driver, oscillating tool, led worklight, and Bluetooth speaker. Then I got the single hand reciprocating saw, cordless ratchet, 3/8" impact wrench, and my absolute favorite Skil tool, the cordless auto-hammer.
My whole family grabs my Skil batteries to charge their devices when we have a power outage. 😂
A bi-directional charge battery is an absolute gamechanger in the Homeowner/DIY market, & could finally be the thing that puts Skil above Ryobi. This makes PwrCore batteries legitimate power banks that you could take with you on the road, especially if they expand their Lifestyle offerings (a la Makita's olive outdoors line). @@VCGConstruction I had hoped to see some announcement of the new European market models making their way stateside, or finally a cordless router, lunchbox planer, & a 40v power station, but I'll probably be waiting on those for some time.

I can't speak to their cordless stuff but I picked up a Skil 5" corded Orbit Sander recently on sale for like $30. It's been great so far.
I use mostly DeWalt, but when I wanted a 10 inch miter saw, I went with the Skil. Vince, I remember you doing a video on said miter saw too. That’s what made me get the Skil! I tell ya, for my woodworking and DYI projects, this saw is a beast! It has been flawless! So yeah, Skil is making it happen!

I use the 12v line a ton. Was waiting on a dual 12v/20v charging station to jump on but charging through usb may help with that. If they added a few more things such as a decent cordless vacuum and maybe a multi head installation driver I wouldn't need to look at brands like milwaukee being just a home owner/diyer type

Please do a deep dive on Skil battery quality and capacity.
New solutions for a battery system sounds okay, but what I would appreciate more is some bigger batteries in the 20v line, I don't care about their size as the efficiency, a compact 2Ah battery sounds nice for my compact impact driver and overhead work, but my heavy recip saw and dual flood light eats up a 5Ah like crazy. I really hope that what you've shown here is merely a teaser from Skil

Due to a recent personal...shall we say...sensitive...encounter I had and its aftermath, could we maybe not use the word "discharge" for a while?
What are the chances of Skil bringing out a 100th anniversary edition. Skil 77?
I don't know why the USB port gets the hype it's 5 volts 1 amp. That's 2007 technology. That's the same power the iPhone charger shipped with from 2007 till 2015. Today devices require more power and have the ability to charge faster than 10 watts. Today's devices come with 15,18, 20, 30 watt chargers. Most of today's devices will use more power than that 10 watts can provide. Thus the battery will not charge and the device will get hot if you use it while it's charging.
Can you please do a TTR between this and a De Walt gyro. I have not been seeing your videos lately. I would really appreciate a review of CAT’s grahene.

When I first layed my eyes on the USB A port I said "this is F****** stupid making the battery bigger to add a useless function". now whit the USB C 100W and charging they have added a real feature for the extra space in the battery.
Type c needs atleast 25w charging. Prefer 35, 50 or 65. 100 is badass

Sorry to say nothing in this video is a homeowner hack that saves you any money at all you charge your devices with the battery than you charge that battery with the power from your home you're still spending the same amount of money charging One battery or the other
