    great video. How did you create the email / newsletter block inside the graphic?

    • @jenxwebdesign
      @jenxwebdesign  Год назад

      Thank you! There is not actually a newsletter block inside this graphic. The button is merely part of the design that I made in Canva. I do not use Squarespace email campaigns, I use ConvertKit. What you would do if you were using a newsletter block is just design your page as usual and insert the newsletter block. Does that make sense? Let me know if you need more clarification. Thanks for watching!

      @@jenxwebdesign this makes sense and I was able to insert the newsletter block but I was not able to get the freebie to deliver.

    • @jenxwebdesign
      @jenxwebdesign  8 месяцев назад

      @@AlisonB.Patterson are you using Squarespace campaigns? When editing the newsletter block, in the content tab select 'Post-submit.' This is where you would attach your link, redirect your subscriber to a different page, or include a post-submit message. I hope that helps.

      That's right, it will depend on what you are using for an Email Service Provider.

    Hey awesome info Jen!
    I could not find the code, when clicking on the blog post it opens up to all the blogs you have written. Would yu have written.
    would you mind specifying which one has the code in?

    thank you for this information. How do you link your lead generator to you a newsletter? I have gone into the post submit and tried to attach a form and also a url to a google freebie drive and my freebie is not popping up in another window or being delivered via email. This tutorial was super helpful. Thank you again.

    Thanks for this. One question - how do you set it up so that the person gets an instant email with the whitepaper/guide in the email (via a link). Does Squarespace offer that or would I need to integrate something like MailChimp?

    • @jenxwebdesign
      @jenxwebdesign  5 месяцев назад +1

      Good question. I do not use Squarespace email campaigns, I use ConvertKit. Are you trying to prevent people from taking the freebie without confirming their subscription? Try going to Marketing > Email campaigns > Email campaign settings > Verification options > Customize email and link the whitepaper/guide in the context of the email. 🤞

    • @NodalMarketing
      @NodalMarketing 4 месяца назад

      @@jenxwebdesign Correct! We launch our agency this week and have 3 whitepapers ready to go. I'll be promoting on LinkedIn etc but I'm keen to get the email of anyone who downloads the content so I can start to nurture leads. I often see ads for webinars etc and you have to type in your email and you immediately get an email with the link to download. I've used the newsletter plug in you mentioned but not sure that pings out the whitepaper into emails straight away? Should I just add this link into the "confirmation email" section?

    • @jenxwebdesign
      @jenxwebdesign  4 месяца назад

      @@NodalMarketing Hi! Yes, I think that will solve your problem. This is why I don't use SS email campaigns, but I do understand that it's a good place to start when you're new. On the other hand, you may end up having to backtrack and move everything to another platform which is kind of a pain. I use ConvertKit and I've been really happy with them. I'll send you my affiliate link here: jenxwebdesign.com/kit . Many Squarespace users use MailChimp because it easily integrates with SS, but other than the easy integration, I find their platform clunky so I've opted for ConvertKit. Many people also like FloDesk and MailerLite. There are a lot of options and they're all better than Squarespace. Good luck to you my friend!

    Is it possible to hide the header section to hide like a really good landing page? What is the code?

    • @jenxwebdesign
      @jenxwebdesign  Год назад +1

      At 7:16 in the video, I mention that the code is in the blog post and the link to the blog post is under the video. RUclips doesn't allow me to paste the code under the video. Let me try to paste it here: .header, #footer-sections {display:none !important;}. Oh! That worked! Thanks for asking, and let me know how it goes!

    Am I able to trigger an email campaign after they download the freebie?

    • @jenxwebdesign
      @jenxwebdesign  Год назад

      Hi Brea. Absolutely! You can use Squarespace campaigns or an email service provider (ESP) like MailChimp or, my favorite, ConvertKit. Are you currently using an ESP? Here's an affiliate link to ConvertKit convertkit.com/?lmref=xrTLsg Let me know if you have any other questions about this. It helps me create content for people just like you!
