    Thank you very much for your kindness for sharing this tutorial.
    I have to do the same thing on a 2012 Ford C-Max 2.0 tdci and I will follow your steps.
    I once saw a mechanic replacing the filter but until I saw your video, I didn´t remember all the steps.
    Now I know what to do without the always hard try and error process... :-)
    Thank's again.

      Hi Xavier! It's interesting to hear that the same thing applies to your C-Max as well. I did not know that it was the same engine. But as I understand does Ford use PSA Diesels...
      Did my tutorial work for the C-Max in the same way?

    Thank you so much for your effort to make this video, as you clearly said in the beginning there is not really any guidance on how to replace the oil filter. I must congratulate you on a job well done and also your RUclips skills, really informative and good.
    Only sad thing is, you have proof to me that I must rather pay someone more experianced than I am to do the service, as I dont have all the right tools and is worried that I will damage something seeing that there is so many parts to remove and put back.
    Why in the world did they put the oil filter there??!! On all my previous cars that I owned I always did it my self, as I always do an engine flush with diesel before I put the new filter in and replace the oil, but with all this parts, I do not think that will be possible.
    So once again many thanks for your help and perfect step by step video, Sometimes I believe in rather get the right person for the job as things clearly got a bit more complicated than on older cars.
    Once again, many thanks, and was also impressed that you showed how to reset the oil change alarm, I was under the impression you would need too do it via the computer with special cable connection and software. So yes you where a real help.
    Be Blessed and may you and all your viewers have a Blessed 2024.

    I just used a shortened 27mm spanner to remove the oilfilter housing. There is no need to disassemble that whole section of the engine to get to it.... It's a tight squeeze to get the filter out, yes, but really no biggie... 😊

      Actually I would not do this: Dirt can fall from the top into the filter housing: This can in worst case destroy your turbocharger bearings. Also, you get all the oil spilling downward in the engine compartment...

    Remeove the clamp on the intake rubberhose and slip off the hose, then you get just enough clearance to change the filter

    • @mykuga2025
      @mykuga2025  Год назад

      Right... but make sure that no dirt gets into the filter housing. This would kill your turbo charger....
      Would not recommend doing it "blind" behind the hoses...

    Hi. Looking for advice, I keep getting engine malfunction for "oil deteriorated" although I've recently had an oil change and done reset using pedals. Any ideas??

      Change the oil and filter and then reset the warning as shown in the video. If it gets back you need to check the sensor

    My diagnostic obd2 port has stopped working on my kuga 2009 is there a fuse for the obd2 port and where is it located any help please

    • @mykuga2025
      @mykuga2025  9 месяцев назад

      Hi Mark,
      there is no fuse to the OBD connector itself as it connects to the EEC computer in your car. This in turn has a fuse located in the central fuse box.
      Does the car run at all?

    Hello ! Can you, please, tell me if the oil can be drain ONLY by using a oil pump ?

    • @mykuga2025
      @mykuga2025  Год назад +1

      You can also drain it using a plug under the engine. For this you have to remove several covers and lift the car horizontally... I use the pump because it is in expensive and you don't make your hands dirty...

    Why take all the Throttle Box off? Just buy the correct angled spanner and do the job in a fraction of the time....
