    i have watched lot of your videos on TEAMS thanks a ton for your guidance and support . If you could advise me how to create subtasks and assign them to different individuals, I would greatly appreciate it

      Using Planner you cannot have subtasks.
      Each Planner task does have a checklist. You can consider those as subtasks.
      For formal dependencies across tasks you have to use MS Project or similar apps.
      One word of caution: Planner tasks are great. But anyone in the team can delete or alter anything in a task without any audit trail.

    How do we book time in Outlook calendar though for a Planner task? Importing the plan as Calendar does not allow booking time in day calendar.

    I knows it’s early but when should I use Loop vs. OneNote? I can see a case that OneNote merges into Loop (+Whiteboard)

      Hi
      OneNote is for taking notes. Unstructured stuff.
      Loop is for specific things where you need inputs from multiple persons.
      Loop components are currently available in Teams Chat, Word and Outlook, but will be available in OneNote as well.
      Loop items are standalone - you can put them anywhere and they still update the base content.
      Container independent co-authoring = Loop.

    Is it possible to automatically assign a task to a person? Or at least have the person as a mandatory field?

      No automatic assignment possible in Planner itself.
      However if you have specific condition(s) when a task should be assigned to someone, use Power Automate.

    How to add a Group or a team in planner if any team is not there how to create one somthing which appears under may task while creating a task for the team option in a drop down section?

      Create a Team first. Add the Planner tab to it - Tasks by Planner and To DO.
      That way, all Team members automatically become part of the Planner group.

    Like you list two teams one was procurement and other monthly review so how did you create those team ?? Please explain Rest process i know but im not able to create a team to select it in the first place 😅

      Go to Teams in Teams - Create a Team - Blank Team - Private - Give it a name and Add members.

      Printer page ka size ke bahar jayega data to ek page nahi ho sakta.
      In Excel go to View - Page Layout and adjust.

      Yes. I agree. MS Project is the most comprehensive, accurate and powerful way of managing tasks, projects and more.
      Unfortunately, it needs to be purchased separately.
      Secondly, even people who do have MS Project use it in isolation.
      For exploiting the full benefits, you need to use Project Server (now called Project Online).
      I do not know of a single organization that has licenses for MS Project for all users.
      Hence, we have to assume that MS project will be available, at best, in pockets.
      Therefore, we have no choice but to use the other tools available in the platform.
      That is the purpose of this video.

    Unfortunately, planner saves all the task atrachments in the Share Point's root folder. We are moving to Microsft list because of this

      As of now (Sep 2023), the best way to create a task list is to use a Loop page.
      Add one or more Loop Task lists on it. Delegate work from the page.
      Individuals can see tasks delegated to them in Assigned To Me.
      The loop page is the Assigned By Me equivalent.
