    Man that came out awesome. Sits a bit high with those portals. I think maybe some underdrive in the rear and overdrive in the front would help it.

      It definitely sits a bit high, but I actually am digging this look!
      It still did really well around the backyard course, but I definitely wouldn't test it on that steep hill 😅🤣🤣

      @rcfungames 13 дней назад +1

      I can throw some 53 mm shocks on it but it's not going to change the ride height!
      It's because of the portal axles it makes it stand really tall.
      Which is great for clearance, especially on the rocky terrain that I crawl, but it's definitely not as capable on hill climbs as my other builds 😅

      Thank you so much dude, the reason I never upgraded my electronics in my Bronco and Defender was exactly because I had the pro light kit from Traxxas!

    It looks like a trail beast, with this huge clearence under the bottom and the axles. But what about climbing performance? Looks like the center of gravity is too high, is it not?

    • @rcfungames
      @rcfungames 13 дней назад +1

      @@jameskenway8691 thank you bro, it really is a trail beast.
      And yes, it definitely has a higher center of gravity compared to using the straight axles.
      But then you do gain a lot of clearance.
      It did really well over all the rocky obstacles but, it's definitely more prone to rolling over on the hill climbs.
      But that's the fun about building different style rigs.
      It was a lot of fun driving around the course without worrying about getting hung up on the rocks with the axles.
      But I definitely wouldn't try to climb my steepest hill with it.

    • @rcfungames
      @rcfungames 12 дней назад +1

      Yep fully built! It does seem like the body sits very high but if you're going to look at some pictures of upgraded Cherokee Jeeps online you will see it doesn't look very different!
      I like having my rigs nice and low but, can't build them all the same or else it just gets boring!
      And to be perfectly honest it performed really well around the backyard course, considering it went straight from the table to the course! I think it performed really well.
      And it looks mean!
      Sorry you didn't like the build bro!

    with how high it sits, does it matter about the chassis hitting the lay down servo? because to me theres a huge gap above the servo

    • @rcfungames
      @rcfungames 12 дней назад +1

      It sits high but the service sits in between the chassis! Of course when crawling and the suspension is articulating it's normal for it to extend!
      And the reason there is a huge gap is because this chassis ment for the lay down Servo setup.
      The reason it's it's so high is only because of the portal axles
