I bought my 70mm Blue Angels Viper 2 years ago. They upgraded to the 80A esc, even tho it says 70A esc on the box, and pre-installed Flaps. Maidened it 7/27/2023. Perfect! Flew the Arrows Marlin for about 6 months and my 1.2m Eflite P-51 Blondie. Perfect aircraft to get me ready for the Viper. Also, bought the KMRC afterburner a month ago, so that was in it to. The Roaring top 6s 3700 70c was a perfect balance at 95mm😅

I'm glad you used the Roaring TOP 3700 70c, I have it with the "blue angel scheme" Viper. Good to know it can handle the extra weight.

Well lucky me : I got a Chinese Model that slipped through quality control, front retract / steering assembly was a total sloppy mess. I totally missed it in build and set up. Tested it quickly on the road for tracking straight, Went to the field to maiden it. Damn bird was all over darting left and right like a kid on crack! I tried to punch it and clear the weeds and she cart wheeled . Repaired it and thought all was good , then the c clip popped and she darted right off the run way. I torn the entire assembly apart rebuilt it , she’s rock solid now and ready to Maiden now and it drives spot on now . Ready for a high speed lift off. Wish I caught the loose steering before I crashed it. Can’t wait to get it airborne and she if I can keep it flying without stalling it . Live and learn . Check steering before you attempt liftoff.

I dont think you can say enough good things about this plane. After 3 or 4 iterations between Eflite and FMS they really fixed all the problems and gave the buyer everything they asked for, and then it flies even better than the 90mm. its much more nimble in tight spaces. The grass ops capabilities with that gear are fantastic. The burner colors are really vibrant. Love the livery for the 15th anniversary too. FMS knows how to paint a sport plane. Nice flying

Absolutely a awesome informer video. You 2 fly this bird really well. Great team. I’ll snag the link and check out the afterburner. Thank you for all the tips. Bib be sure to take your advice on control hole placement of servo rods. I too aren’t into a lot of expo. I’m old school from the late 70s . Early 80s when I started flying. No expo back in the day.

Hi Rich! Super video as AL WAYS :) Some questions:
1 what did you mean with "stay away from the rudder to avoid stalling by uncoordinated stall" ? As I´m beginning to fly Edfs and had two stalls I was thinking to use the rudder or final turns too to avoid too much banking
2 whats that about of the nose falling on tide turns/steep angles? I don´t think I´ll be doing that but just to know...
Great flights! I couldn´t resist watching it completely. Nothing against you, but I loved Gavs flying style! Very smooth :D
