    Hi, just got one of these from a chinese web site for a great price (230 pounds including shipping compared with 340 pounds from uk suppliers).Took five weeks to get to uk, but is genuine article. Just a few points. Firstly my wires from front wheel servos were under the battery tray which is much more convenient. Looks like someone in the factory followed your advice 😊. Secondly i had to cut out some foam to get a 4000mah 6s heavy duty turnigy battery far enough back for cog. Thirldy i had to cut out a little foam to fit my detrum receiver/gyro. I know this plane doesnt need a gyro but its built into the msr66a receiver which is all i had. Most importantly this plane flew like a dream when i maidened it today. It is fantatic, flies just as well as my freewing avanti. No trim required and lands so slowly on flaps. I also have the fns yak 130 70mm, but i think this flies better. Seems more stable. On a last note, i dont think that your adult overtone comments are at all inappropriate for this channel. They are suble enough to go over the heads of children. Keep up the good work....and sorry i dont buy from your links, but those companies do not deliver to uk.

    Brian you would have never made it in the kit building days, I have spent 500 hours building top flite kits. I cant believe we complain about installing some pushrods for a plane this fantastic.

    I am going to attempt to add extensions and move the receiver to the front and then run a 5k pushed as far back as possible. I like the underhanded dirty talk, and your wife is stellar with awesome fingernails. Haha. I think you should listen to her ideas a bit more. For $299 this plane is a awesome deal especially with the retractable gear.

    Hi Brian . Great setups and flying. I have this fms viper. Can i ask you if i can use the bnf e -flite template viper 70mm loaded on the nx8, for this fms viper. If this is feasible. Can I use the e flite bnf template with the AR630 in the same position as you have ? Cheers kian

    Yes, checked the FMS site - they sell this without Reflex V2. Have to buy it separately I guess; very surprising.

    Hi brian. (And camera crew) :p
    I got the blue fms viper V2 with the same reciever. But i kinda lost you when setting up AS3X and Safe. There was something about channel B was inhibited earlier in the setup?

  • @lw216316
    @lw216316 2 месяца назад

    Will the fms 70mm viper fly safely on a 4s battery?
    Yes, I know the 6s is recommended and yes I know the performance will be less,
    but will it fly safely on a 4s? I don't want to experiment to find out and then have it crash
    because it does not have enough power to stay in the air.

    Flaps... I had to move the servo arm one tooth back to get the control rods to go on, unscrewing them all the way out wasn't enough. One tooth back made the difference.

Ok I the safe it is in with the gear (switch A), With the gear down the Ailerons are trying to get it level, With the gear up the ailerons go to neutral. How do I get the safe to switch B? • @BrianPhillipsRC
      @BrianPhillipsRC  Год назад +2

      Sorry to disappoint, but for what it's worth, we target and reach a mostly adult audience, and have analytics to help prove it. That's not to say there aren't any children, and for that reason, a mixed audience, we try to keep it mostly clean here on the channel. Hope this makes sense, but if it's just too raunchy for you, we apologize...I'll try to get Megan under control - LOL ;)
