You did a nice job, but you didn’t really help me with my lack of sewing machine confidence. How did you make that double stitch? What about the stretchy fabric? How did you keep it from stretching while you sewed it? You clearly know what your doing, but it was a bit hard to follow because the camera jumped around so much.

He used a cover stitch machine. So if you have a regular sewing machine, you need a jersey knit needle which will help prevent stretching. Cut at the first cut line and use the second two lines as a hem guide. Fold to the first line then fold again to the second line. Hem the folded hem edges with the jersey knit needle.
