Hell yeah bro I started shaving at 18 (but because I was balding a lot and still am), now I'm 19 and bald. In a way we're playing hard mode and it makes us more resistant to bad situations in life. Let's embrace this shit and be proud. I agree 100% with everything you said.
I've been bald since I was twelve. I lost my hair due to an immune system disorder that attached my hair. I was really embarrassed, but my friends and my dad helped me cope with it and embrace it.
I agree so much. I guess I have "good" genetics for hair, but I've not always felt lucky because of that. It's a hassle to maintain and I sometimes wish nature would just make me go bald so I wouldn't have to worry about it anymore. I disagree. Here is why man. First of all you keep placing value on materialism, career, and accomplishments. Then you keep devaluing hair and saying it doesn't matter and no one cares. That makes no sense. Hair doesn't matter to you because you have none. You keep saying bald is beautiful that is great, but for some their hair is beautiful. Of course people style their hair and that doesn't mean that it's the most important thing to people. It's apart of us. You place your value on materialism, career, accomplishments. Well others may place their value on their looks. Neither is wrong. Others may say none of those matter and it's all about the personality. People with hair like us don't make it our whole being it's just a little part of us. We don't pay so much more extra attention to it than other things. You don't see us saying bald people place their importance on being bald. That would be wrong and false. As for saying no one cares, that's incorrect. Many people care about hair because it's apart of people. Having hair helps with getting more women, looking younger, and relationships. It's great that your confident in being bald, but it's rude to try and make it seem like it's not a big deal, because to others it is.

At the back of my head, the crown- it's thin & I'm thinning- a LOT. A few times in the past, I've shaved my head completely bald & I must admit- I don't mind it- one bit. Being bald sucks, I'd get being 6'4 lots of lesions from bumping my head into stuff, its there to protect you, plus living near siberia . the cold jus attacks your scalp and freezes you. You still have enough hair imo, i dont think you are at the point where one is forced to embrace the fact that you are bald, you can just use finasteride to prevent further loss and you will still be good for many years if not decades, to me my hair is part of my identity, it doesnt define me, but if im going bald i will do as much as i can to prevent that, because only a very small percentage of men look good while bald, we can lie to ourselves and say looks dont matter but they do, its great to accept yourself as you are, but not giving up when you can still fight it. It's okay to shave because you want to, but i think you are giving the wrong message to men, its very hard and expensive to even have a chance to regrow your hair, but if you still have a decent amount of hair then the best way is to prevent further loss, and you do that by starting on finasteride (the most effective treatment available, dont believe the horror stories from ppl who arent even doctors, its a very good treatment, the chance of a side effect is very small for you to not try it and they are reversible anyway) and do it as early as possible, you can even add minoxidil for better effects, but the most important thing is to fight back, many men regret not giving a fight it when they are young and just started balding like you seem to be.
