Suzuki is a car brand that has a large presence in my country India & JV with Toyota for some models. This model is also sold but with a different name - Grand Vitara and more modern style. I find the dashboard & steering wheel quite common for different Suzuki models.
I've got a 2013 1.2 Swift 94hp. It's sedate lower down the rev range for economy, but after about 4000rpm thats when the fun starts. It can really move when it's revved.
Ok, im a great fan of suzuki but this Vitara has been on the market for ages while the price has been creeping up, they need to launch a new model. Multimedia looks aftermarket.
Weirdly enough, the S-Cross has grown and offers pretty much everything Vitara does but it also has a bigger trunk. There really is no reason to get a Vitara instead of the S-Cross.

Ten samochód urzeka mnie starym stylem, prostotą. Mam sentyment do Suzuki, w l. 90 nabyłem ówczesne Baleno, było dużo tańsze od Toyoty i praktycznie 10 lat nie wiedziałem co to awaria. Twarde plastiki w środku wybaczam, to nie MB S klasa.

if you want the best of all these kinds of cheap awd suvs buy an sx4 1.4 boosterjet 140 hp. more comfy than vitara overall and same price. hybrid doesnt really make sense in these cars. 7.5 litres / 100 km in both cases.
@@2winis2doit5 too late :D I bought the new vitara. I really enjoy it actually. Coming from a sport hatchback, the first impression is that it is less dinamic and less refined to be a driver's car. But overall, it is a better car than I thought. The average consumption after 5000 km is 5.8 and that's amazing
@@2winis2doit5 it is pretty flat where I live. But I work as a mountain guide. So most of my travels are to the mountains and back. Two of my best friends have the same engine( previous generation),front wheel drive, and they average 6.1 and 6.3. The reason I average less with allgrip is that I used to do a lot of track days in my life, both with cars and motorcycles. When you know how to drive a car fast, you also know how to drive it efficiently. So my secret is to keep as much speed as possible in the bends( with safety and comfort for all passengers) so that I use the minimum amount of acceleration when going out of the bend. This can happen when taking the perfect trajectory of the bend. It also helps if you know the road. Another thing to do is to use the small electric engine as much as possible so I try to keep the battery up by using engine brake. Anyway, with the winter tyres recently installed and the cold starts each morning, the consumption is now higher. So I'll probably average no more than 6.0 overall.
@@KingJulien27 Yeah fast speed and high gear is the key to both fun and efficiency. But to be sure: You ain't got the hybrid model right? So 1.4 Boosterjet has really 6 litres average?

What about road (tire &wind) noise? In highway driving it sounds quite loud even at 100 Km/h.
