    I'm new to 4x4 cubing, and doesn't everybody love when they follow an algorithm exactly and it still messes up XD Oh the yellow side. Always the bane of my existence!

    This helped so much! Thank you so much! It helped because my friend messed up my new 4x4 when I told him not to because I was going to practice so I’m glad I found an easy tutorial!

    When u do the edge paring, I always have it so it gets to there being 4 edges unsolved and I can’t do anything with it. It’s probably me just being stupid but does anyone know what I could be doing wrong??

    • @OJCubingEssentials
      @OJCubingEssentials  4 года назад +1

      When you have 4 edges (or any number of even edges) left, you can do edge parity
      (d R U R’ F R’ F’ R d’) and then you’ll end up with a good amount of edges hopefully

    when I create new pair or edges some of my other edges get scrambled !!! how do I prevent this?

    • @OJCubingEssentials
      @OJCubingEssentials  4 года назад

      Sorry for the late response. Just make sure to not have any edges you have complete in the same slice as the one you’re using to create new pairs. Then once you’re down to the last 4, keep only those edges on that slice. You might need to use the edge pairing parity if you only have 2 left. Hope that helps?

    Everything is great except the OLL parity algorithm. It simply does not work.
    I know it should, but it would be kind of odd for me to do it frame by frame mirror like you do, and fail the exact same way 36 times over and over and over, and for it to still work... yeah, I tried 36 times...

    • @OJCubingEssentials

      The alg is right, make sure you’re getting Lw and Lw’ the right way round, make sure to follow it carefully, and most importantly - be persistent, it’s a difficult algorithm
