Poor Occy I was so impressed with his riding and climbing skills ! You guys just didn't tell him that saving people from drowning is a human job lol. I am glad that Max wasn't hurt when he fell in and I hope all the equipment comes out okay!

If you ever have again issues with wet camera equipment. The good solution is to remove all batteries, cards etc as soon as possible and put them in some container,bag, jar etc. with a lot of dry rice to cover the technical equipment. It takes all moisture in and save the equipment.keep it some days and then if sure its dry, then try to put it on. It worked well with my camera once when it fell to river. I have recently started to watch ur videos and the thing which i lile the most in ur videos is ur luv for oggy, Max will luv oggy becz he is been taking care of him since he was 8 month old but its a delightful sight watching Lee loving nd taking care of oggy so much..👍.. just 1 request pls take care of oggy since he is 7 to 8 years old it might b a bit difficult for him to climb all those steep places...
Just glad everyone's safe. Read about an incident that happened recently to someone I've followed on Instagram. Their dog fell in the water above a waterfall while they were hiking, and the husband jumped in to save the dog. Horrifically, neither survived. So as long as everyone's safe, things can be replaced.
Last year I spent half a year in Costa Rica as an exchange student and Santa Theresa and Montezuma were some of my favorite places. It makes me so happy and sad at the same time seeing you taking the same paths I took just some time ago. Monteverde is absolutely beautiful and breathtaking. I'm so excited for you! So sorry hearing about your camera equipment but I hope you enjoyed it anyways.

Not funny but funny a similar thing happened to our backpack getting out gear soaked...we ended up buying a backpack from Pelagic totally waterproof and rugged for all our excited expeditions and was well worth it. I am new to this channel and I just subscribed!! Keep up the great content!

Y'all are cool. I mean you did what a lot of us talked about in the early 70's. Sitting around listening to Deep Purple on an 8-Track and smoking low-grade week. Instead; college, grad school, kids, 7200 sqft behind gates and working 16 hours a day to support our happy life.
Thank god Max. You're safe. I hope you did not suffer any injuries from the fall. Also, I hope your feet is fine by now? Sting ray incident is still something which happened not very long ago. And I appreciate the patience Lee and you have. Let me know what happened to the gear that was submerged in the water and to all the pictures and footages that were in it. I love you sharing your dog struggles! The Fur Babies are the happiest part of my life, but can also be the most frustrating. Especially when they're behavior/quarks interfere with what you wanna do.
put all of your soaked camera gear in rice, the rice will absorb all the humidity trapped inside the device, and the devices themselves tend to function as normal after a day or so of being in rice. No worries!!

Not funny but funny a similar thing happened to our backpack getting out gear soaked...we ended up buying a backpack from Pelagic totally waterproof and rugged for all our excited expeditions and was well worth it. I am new to this channel and I just subscribed!! Keep up the great content!

Thank god Max. You're safe. I hope you did not suffer any injuries from the fall. Also, I hope your feet is fine by now? Sting ray incident is still something which happened not very long ago. And I appreciate the patience Lee and you have. Let me know what happened to the gear that was submerged in the water and to all the pictures and footages that were in it. One upside is that I’d had a difficult day of teaching and this helped put things into perspective and reminded me of why I’m saving all my pennies to go adventuring. I liked the added map feature!!

put all of your soaked camera gear in rice, the rice will absorb all the humidity trapped inside the device, and the devices themselves tend to function as normal after a day or so of being in rice. No worries!!
