  • This trip starts out on Alder Creek Road - 1N16 and connects with Old City Creek Road - 1N09.
Along the way passing plenty of beautiful scenery, several water crossings and ending at an altitude of 4,824 ft.
This is a very easy trail that any all-wheel drive vehicle with decent clearance can do.
Allow 5 to 6 hours to complete.

Just went up this past Tuesday in my outback and the trail has changed a lot! Pretty difficult with a few rockslides.

Hey there...I really appreciate your videos. Have saved all of them. Have signed on as leader to a group of off roaders and plan to use your videos to choose our "Soft Trails" Many thanks and keep them coming!!

I went with a group about 5 years ago on this trail....then we went up Clarks Grade to Big Bear....is that a still viable option. We are Easy trail older guys now!!

You should do Santiago Peak. Make sure to get there very early though, because the trails get quite busy. I did it in my 2019 Outback Onyx. The biggest hazard is the potholes on the road to get the dirt trail! Lol

I plan on doing this trail tomorrow if it’s not windy.

How long did it take you to get to bear creak?
