  • The kids and I were on Spring Break, and had been planning a trail run for quite some time. This area of the San Bernardino National Forest looked promising- it is less than an hour away from our house, and I had never been here.
    We ended up finding some great views and fun trails, and I learned that it may be time to upgrade my camera gear.

      Have fun! It’s a cool little trail, especially after the spring rains.

    There's a spot where you cross a bridge and There's lots of rocks by a little creek/river nice place to camp out.

      Let me know how it is- I’m guessing the winter storms have made it a little sportier than last year!

      Very cool, I did not know that. Wild to think about people on horses and carriages on the same path.

      A Toyota FJ Cruiser with an Old Man Emu
      3” lift and suspension. A little stiff at first, but better after a year.

    Great video I just recently googled that place and it said it’s permanently closed. Is that just the shooting areas or the whole place along with trails?

    • @rohrsoutdoors
      @rohrsoutdoors  2 года назад

      Just the shooting, due to fire season. The areas are open, but target shooting is not allowed. Hunting still is.

    Did you have to air down for this trail? Looks mild enough to not do so

    • @rohrsoutdoors
      @rohrsoutdoors  Год назад +1

      Nope! Easily done without. Trail conditions change (obviously), but this was a well serviced road.

    • @rohrsoutdoors
      @rohrsoutdoors  Год назад

      I do not. I would definitely call the ranger station. They often close them after rains to prevent damage to the trail.
