- The Springboks ran out comfortable winners against Wales at Twickenham. Although for a lot of the match it was far closer than many expected.
What will each side take out of it? Who will be more pleased? Спорт
After 2019, looking at the Springbok depth, I said to my friends "whoo we look good for the next rwc." Looking at the Springbok depth now after 2023, you have to think, dam, the future looks good for Springbok rugby.
honestly don't think that ref has ever seen a scrum in his life before...massive credit to Wales though, for really giving 200% like they always do, never an easy game against the Dragons.
Before Rassie Erasmus took over in 2018, a certain Bok coach before Alister Coetzee famously said South Africa didnt have the depth in talent. Now that very same coach is wanting to come back to SA after a number of years in the MLR. I disagree with you regarding the scrums, Wales were pushed back like a practice scrum at times. Hendrickse didnt have a bad game, I think it was just nerves. I also think that if Mannie doesnt get his kicking game right, he is out of the 10 jersey.

Edwill's van der Merwe's try was lovely, but his most impressive moment was his try-saving double tackle at 21:42. It happened so quickly, you can be forgiven for thinking it was two different defenders.
This was a fun game to watch live! Credit to Wales, they put us Boks to the test, especially in the first half. Also very happy with the performance of all the new players - the Ireland series is looking to be a great matchup!
only good thing out of the game is to see the makings of a world class player in Sacha Zulu.
Is he related to Shaka Zulu?

@@IsanG08 ok good.
Lmao😅
You cant expect a smooth performance from a international team with players coming from different league's and some not having played for months. They only had 2 weeks together. It's testament to their strength that they won by that margin without getting out of 3rd gear
Something to add. " Hulle weet nie wat ons weet nie "
When we say Wales is a team that doesn't stop coming against our boys, we know what we're saying. Respect Wales💚💛🇿🇦
A very rusty first half, but much better in the second. Fassi and vd Merwe were good. Roos and Hendrikse not so much in my opinion. SFM is our future at 10. The youngster has BMT. Libbok will stiil play but watch for Feinberg Mngomezulu to come into his own in that jersey
Great meeting you at the game and thanks for the content. I always look forward to your and others reviews after the game 👍😀
Pleasure mate, thanks for saying hello. Hope you had a great day.
Pieter Steph looked tired. Malcolm Marx not match fit.Good game from the newbies
“Basham in the back row was good” - He wasn’t playing Alfie. He’s not in the squad. I presume you mean Botham? Also Ben Carter did not come off for Ratti. He played the full 80. It was Matthew Screech who was replaced by James Ratti. Carter was excellent btw.
I was right behind you in twickenham today in the seats just above you 😂
Ah should have said hello mate! Hope you had a class day 👍🍺
Great podcast 👏
Sacha looked good. Looked like he belonged. He parents must be super proud. What a debut. Team looked rusty but a W is w.
I think Rassie, wherever possible, siezes opportunities to test his players rather seek a big win. He'll want the win yes but happily trade a high score for the chance to test players.
Think the ref had the worst game of the lot. I saw one scrum penalty for Wales - the rest went to the Boks. The Wales scrum did not hold well and I think they were lucky to only give away the handful of penalties that they did.
Just disagree on the scrums. SA were faaaaaaar mote dominant and at times it looked as though Wales were on roller skates and SA get penalised, for being too dominant? Crazy. Great video!🙏
Wales played a good game - better than the final scoreline reflects.
Ref and TMO were appallingly bad.
What stands out to me is the influence the ref and tmo can have with their personal opinion. there is no way that was going to be a anything other than a thumping by SA, but the game could have gone other ways about it
Looking onwards, it look bright for wales
You pronounce it "Ar-Per-leh-leh" Fassie. I know it's no biggie, mate. I'm just lookin' out for you as a Saffa. Enjoy your channel a great deal ❤❤❤
This is the first game after a world cup.. Building to 2027.. New coaches, new players.. New plan to go for 3..
We are already starting better than the 2019 cycle 😅
As long as wales select props who can't scrummage ,they'll continue to struggle, should have gone with botha and smith
Rusty SA side. And I thought Wales were very competitive. Cheers from SA
Whales were good they gave the boks a game in the first half not a bad gmae
Okay you go play mmmmmmm
Mmmmmm go bokke
Disagree about Hendrikse. He's not a bad player but he had a bad, even very bad game.
