Lucanis is my favorite, hands down. They could have made him incredibly edgy, angsty, and brooding- instead, they made him a coffee-addicted chef that lives to see a wyvern.
The whole interaction with Mila is just incredible performance by the VA. Not just the wistful sigh, but just the delivery of Lucanis engaging conversation with Mila speaks volumes about his character. The gentleness, the compassion, the innocence, too... Say what you will about the game's many flaws, but Lucanis is a masterpiece.
Shame Lucanis didn't join the Inquisition back in the day. My inquisitor hunted Wyvern's like crazy to get fade touched hides for enchanting armor and weapons. I once spent 30 straight minutes just killing wyverns in the hissing wastes so I could make runes for killing dragons. I wanted my entire party to have one, lol.
They aren't really new to the series. There were wyverns in Inquisition. You need a wyvern heart for one of Vivienne's quests, and lots players hunt them in the Hissing Wastes to get their hides.
Get this man a Wyvern
It can’t be any worse than keeping Illario 😂
Not Illario catching strays again 😭
I really empathize with Lucanis having to be an older sibling to a dumbass 😔

and also "Babysitt" the other companions, I love this older brother vibes with him and Taash
@@annareifer2249and definitely “shared braincells” brother energy with Davrin especially when it comes to Assan or the First Warden First Talon 🤣🤣🤣

I thought the snake illario line meant he actually had a pet snake and he chose to call it illario to piss off the human illario 😭
To be fair, snake Illario can't be harder to keep than human Illario.
lucanis about wyverns is like the hero of ferelden about griffons

I doubt he’s want to kill a wyvern though.
Rook’s friends with the Inquisitor now so Inky can definitely introduce all the great wyvern spots to Lucanis!
Hawke and the Inquisitor: Sucks to be you, nepo baby. XD
Not Nepo baby 🤣🤣🤣
he is me showing up a party cos i hear theres a dog
Same like if there’s food to eat and a dog to pet, I’m game
out of all the characters. i Do adore Lucanis
We got griffins and now dragon age characters need a new mythical creature to be fixated on
I mean from his perspective, it's like being really into Siberian tigers if tigers also spit acid....

@@stiricidium2281 Yo uhad t ohun ton edown in the Mark of the Assasin DLC for DA2 as well
God he's great
I loved him already and this just seals the deal even more lol
hes so cuteeee😭
There's a codex entry, where Lucanis finds in the lighthouse a children's book about a wyvern that he remembers from his childhood.
I love him ♥️
Lol, it's hilarious 😂
He was my favorit, then he tells, that he owns a pet snake - fellow reptile lover! WUHU (I own 2 pet geckos)
Their heads are so big? Or their shoulders are to small?
It bothers me so much that they mispronounced so many words throughout this game. Its ArlaTHAN not arlaThIN. Its pronounced WIvern not WHYvern
