In this Ableton Live Tutorial I want to share a fun and surprising approach with you on how to turn a loop into a song. I'm using Ableton Live, but you can use any other DAW as well. It might be a little more work than just dragging loops around, but it is inspiring and informative, and your future compositions might benefit from it as well.

I love the advice you give to listen to the music less. After coming up with a moment of music (a loop), stop listening, arrange and be a surprised listener, then edit. Very level headed and professional approach, thanks for sharing!

This is actually so simple but effective. I normally listen to songs and make notes so adding this technique I can now see what my notes mean instead of trying to decipher them. LOVE IT
