I love Clint Eastwood ! When his time comes he will be so missed. I have been a fan since I was a little boy watching Rawhide. Most people talk about Deniro, Pacino, Nicholson, and a few other notables. For me it's Eastwood. Everything he does it seems turns to gold, never silver.
@@grantmcgowan8399 Well, it's all very subjective. Everyone has their own opinions. I don't have a lot of use for The Bridges of Madison County either.
Eastwood has his particular talent. He's in the tradition of Cooper, Mitchum, Stewart, who, basically, played themselves in different situations. Which is fine, but he's never risen to the level of the great method actors: Brando, Pacino, DeNiro, Nicholson, Penn, Oldman, Walken, Sheen, Duvall, Hackman.
Clint has the spirit of a writer, he's not a writer in the traditional sense but he tells stories with images, with pictures and that is the fullest definition of Clint, he is one of the greatest story tellers of the 20th and 21st centuries.
2017...he's 87 years old here, still goodlooking and his mind sharp as a whip....i've never seen an interviewer ask him about one of his very best films: letters from iwo jima...
I don't mean to be melancholy, but I grew up with the greats like Clint as my on screen heroes ..... along with the likes of Connery, Nicholson, Redford, Pacino, De Niro etc etc .... and that's not to disregard the great female actresses eeither, of which there are many, but for now I shall concentrate on Clint, he has just had his 90th birthday, and is surely deserving of his iconic status as one of the greats, many of just the few legends of screen I mention are also fast approaching this milestone too ..... it's going to be a very sad day when we lose them, because the late 60's early to mid 70's were the last of the golden age for movies and movie making, the likes of which we shall not see again ..... it only serves to remind me how old I have become too, and how quick life passes us all by, as Clint says here about the screening of The Unforgiven, it was 25yrs before, but only seems like 6 or 7 ..... waste not a minute of it my friends.
"In the old West, law and order was built around the individual and his ability to take care of himself, you can't have that any more in an organized society". I noticed sadness in Clint's face after making that observation. I feel the same way.
This exemplifies the GRIND that comes with being a superstar. Having to endure the same questions, especially from those that already know the answer, could be quite strenuous.
NOBODY, NOBODY will ever take Clint Eastwood place as an actor or as human being. We will not have him here for another ten years, so im glad for each single day he is here. The Day he rides into the sundown for last time, the sun will not Come up next morning
Clint Eastwood you are a man of greatness and pride .I greatly admired you I love you with all my hearth and I love all of your movies .although you are 90 years you still look handsome.keep up the good work .you always deserves an award-winning trophies.l love you Clint Eastwood.stay just the way you are .
this is confidence but not arrogance from a real star this is rare as fuck today the way he speaks is just class does anyone talentend now care about class
Clint is Top actor an director love his films grew up watching his westerns trilogy my Favourite Actor recently watched Escape from Alcatraz brilliant film
Just saw a fantastic 🎥 by you yesterday Clint. Also just saw one of your classics for the first time this summer. The 👼 The 👹 The 💩. Big inspiration much 💘 from the beams. #mystify #believe
I hope its a good thing, - sometimes I don't know, - but I do have the same concept of time as Clint does. I can't sense it (time) very well. Unforgiven to me still feels recent. Pale Rider feels recent!. I know they're not but only in terms of me respecting other people's interpretations of time. It can be a brutal shock realising the truth of the numbers. I can't believe Eastwood is now so old...but then, you look into the life in his eyes and you relax again - still young. Of course not immortal but you're reassured that he'll probably sense his youth to the end.
this guy laugh's like a hyena !! oh boy , Mr Walker is doing great , see how relaxed and calm he is. his memory about all things past is excellent. maybe he should have combed his hair , it looked a little flyaway . the man is fantastic , in his 70's and still sharp as a tack , way to go Mr Eastwood !!!!
my husband and his brother look like Clint. I wonder if there's any distant cousins he doesn't know about. His dad was a orphan and last name was Parnell but his moms last maiden name was Bryan..
Canne classics means (to me) they're showing older stuff. So then, what year is this interview? It's before Clint went for a short haircut, so before Gran Turino....
my dad knows a lot has been through a lot yet speaks in a quiet but serious way he hates screaming and looking for attention class is not about attention
you guys final put something about clint eastwood on youtube up to 30 minutes after all this time, i would of paid you money to put something good online with him in it that long ago
I am very disappointed with this interview questions. I expected higher standards , I guess my expectations are to high. This interviewer didn’t match Clint Eastwood’s genius and professionalism. What a shame!
cut him some slack...he's interviewed eastwood in the past...now, he's almost as old as clint...he laughs wierd and clint rambles...welcome to old age...
@@michaeldonovan4793 Haha..true, the rambling, weird laugh, but old age stinks. One has no control over its progression: vitamins, healthy eating, exercise helps but eventually the brain shrivels up, the heart wears out and you either become a dementia vegetable or you die. Just think, you will be there sooner or later, Fabienne. Do you want to be criticized for something you have no control over, OLD AGE. Considering these gentlemen's age, they're doing remarkable. I'm 76 and can't compare 😟.
Not such a big deal considering his good interviewing skills maybe you would have preferred Jimmy Kimmel, Jimmy Fallon or Stephen Colbert doing the interview because they laugh with more eloquence
I could have done without Bronco Billy and City Heat. Thunderbolt and Lightfoot wasn't too great either.
@@ClayLoomis1958 I have to disagree with you on Thunderbolt and Lightfoot... This movie is GREAT!

That guy's laugh is insane.
Sounds like a cartoon character
Please, no one make this guy laugh.
A mixture of seal and hyena.
I'll bet that after he saw this talk he sought professional help to get rid of it altogether. Hope so!
Clint gave him a double take, like what the F is this. Lol

Less strenuous, more tedious.
Thanks for posting... inspiring to see Clint still at the top of his game

If he laughs "out" its normal, but when it's a "sucking in air laugh" yes, hienna type.
Clint Eastwood: Legitimately one of the greatest American filmmakers of all time.
