Honestly Tyler, This has got to be one of the best series on hard core North/West coast Tassie driving filmed... Thoroughly enjoyed this awesome series. Will look forward to the next instalment of Tassie. My wife and I are looking forward to going down there soon. Cheers
Awesome Great work fellas This is the content viewers crave The $1000 track reminds me of the old vic range track ( now closed ) in toolangi Melbourne Victoria
This will go the same way eventually. The old entrance is now gated and lots of the timber is scheduled for logging eg for Sassafrass and Blackwood trees.
Just catching up on my Chrissie break. Great vid. And awesome series. Thanks for sharing. Tim is a legend of a bloke. Ive started following his channel after seeing him on yours ages ago.
Fantastic episode 👏. Well put together and a real pleasure to watch. Great to see the 2 Nissan's on that track just work their way thru comfortably. Keep the content coming Tyler getting better all the time👍
Bloody awesome fellas, love both you and Timmy's vids keeping it real not over the top posers like so many others on YT. . . Heading to do this one in a few weeks always planned to but inspired after Timmy's solo mission, can't wait 3 GQs hope she goes well. .
Best video you’ve made to date I think mate. Love both your trucks. Nothing like seeing capable trucks with great drivers smashing a challenge like that. Great drive!! Awesome video!! 👍👍
Bloody epic, the track and the forest. That old time forest makes the hairs on the back of me neck stand up. Ol' mate Tim is a top bloke, even with the red crocks. Cracker show Tyler, cheers
one of to top 5 rules of 4wding is dont put your thumbs inside the steering wheel 🤣 i really want to do the $1000 track. but i wanna do it in my NGV on 245/75's and do it over a couple of days and clean the track up a bit😅.
Awesome episode guys and well done , great teamwork getting the cars through and filming it all. Remind me to never go near that place with or without and led whip 😂😂
Let Kai know he should also be congratulated for his efforts in chasing down camera angles and putting in the physical work in climbing all those hills. 👍🏻🙏🦘
Great view of the track, It is so cool to see such a collection of old-growth huge trees. Definitely a challenge to bypass when they go down. Some of that mud looks pretty similar to what we have to deal with in Florida.
I got up 7:30 to watch this and it wasn't there! Then about 8am it finally shows up and I'm thinking "he's late this week". Then the penny drops.. Daylight Saving.. doh!
Wow awesome Tazzie adventures Tyler👍👍 Now that the gq has been run in, what mods would you like to do before your next adventure? Beside's trimming your guard's back a bit!!😆
This is a track that i have on my list of tracks i gotta try before i die.... Not gonna lie though, it's right at the bottom of that list :) Go hard lads....
Great video again TT! Well setup vehicles with experienced drivers is good to see. I think Timmy can setup an adjunct to his business if taking other Patrols through the $100 track…not too sure how many Landcruisers can make it through without GU diffs or 60 diffs under it lol
Agree..just in 2 years or so it's become much harder. 37s and 40s do that. Blokes in the area atm have comp trucks on 37s and 38s. Can only get worse with so much heavy traffic.
Drove the whole track 2 years ago on 37s with no winching in GQ shorty with LSD. My point is that the track has gotten so much worse in 2 or so years given twin locked on 37s now involves much winching. Gotta be expected I guess given its popularity. Love you're work guys.
I would have loved to see you drive it 2 years ago with no winching as the group I was with cut the part that he called the winch challenge section and that was November 2019 and that section when it was open was a serious winch any way.
@Phil Hudson trust me we did, and that section was there..we did some panel damage dropping back into the track. Cars were a LS GU waggon, 2 Patrol shorties, a GU flat tray and an 80 series. Not all drove that section but my son and I managed to get up it as did the other shorty Patrol. SWB helped a lot I guess.
It's kinda funny when Tracks seem harder when its Apparently Drier. I did Not Much Help, Toolangi in the Summer early this year. All the Bad Holes were still Bad with inclusion of water that had been pushed along the Dry Ground in to the Bogs
@Ben Johnson that was suggested to the Tas Govt years ago, and some 4wd clubs have done track work, but it's sort of out of control now with eg bloggers seeing the pull Tassie has which increases popularity/demand/damage etc etc. Tracks need management eg like Vic...but Tas Govt is not interested. Lots of closures happened during Labour/Green Govt Inc deleting them from maps. Then there's forestry/plantations impact and indigenous community protest/land allocations.... .so it don't look good for future 4wdrivers here. Enjoy it while you can..or go to Vic like we do every year or so!
My 9yo daughter said, "You're Landcruiser wouldn't need a winch Daddy!" 😂😂 You might want to turn your imitation Maxtraxs on the roofrack 90° for better aerodynamics No damage??? You obviously weren't driving hard enough!!!
does your l/c have 40,s. ???..& decent diffs, to handle them.. the object is, no need to spin wheels, winch it. unlike 24/7, that have million dollar sponsores,,i like to make it home.. nissan have a better wheel base, & a transmission brake, something l/c ignored.. mates 60 was allways bashing the rear fuel tank..too much o/hang..
Since inflation it's now the $3000 track
Hahaha
Love me an macroeconomic comment haha
Na the track is getting shut down. No thanks to the green wankers. Another one gone
@@westy7294 there the ones that sit behind a computer where there not been dirty and never been wheeling on tracks.
@@westy7294 We'll have to fight them green wankers. I don't see the harm in a track they'd never know about if 4wd enthusiasts didn't film it.

Thanks mate, appreciate it!
Tim's truck is a beast. So good. Shows what you can do with 2 very well set up vehicles 😊
This track is why Tim cut it into a ute was a good video he made its how I found d him
1st bog hole 37's winch out! Absolutely love it LETS GO!
I like it when Timmy’s headlight winks at me from the bog holes 🫣🥵
Thankyou! Loved every Tassie episode. Two quality gq's and drivers.
That was an absolute masterpiece! Great job Tyler and Tim! You guys are mad dogs for conquering this relentless track. Such an awesome adventure!
Best episode of Tasmania by far 👍🤟🤟🤟
The best episode! Excellent camera angles, watching it was like being there.
Regards from Bolivia!
Once that rose colour is covered up by the mud, its looks like a sick truck…
Lovely work gents, cheers for having me 🫡🤝
❤
Awesome episode. Two incredible rigs. Tim is a Legend, and Tom is totally solid Dude. Great series Tyler.
The best episode I’ve watched in ages!
Love the window tinting you’s put on ya cars. Muddy crazy you blokes are.
Awesome

I appreciate that!
Well done boys, such a good trip to watch
Just catching up on my Chrissie break. Great vid. And awesome series. Thanks for sharing. Tim is a legend of a bloke. Ive started following his channel after seeing him on yours ages ago.
Another great video, congrats to you both making it through without any real damage. Good reminder about the steering wheel and hand placement too
Thanks 👍
Simply Bloody Awesome!!
This was better than 24/7, and their weird over the top telling each other they are doing a good job.
Of course, that's why I haven't watched them for years. Tyler's way better. Tim's been a great addition in Tassie, maybe we'll see him in NSW
Their full name is ‘24/7 Ads’!
Well done to you both 👏
A really enjoyable month of vids
Fantastic episode 👏. Well put together and a real pleasure to watch. Great to see the 2 Nissan's on that track just work their way thru comfortably. Keep the content coming Tyler getting better all the time👍

Epic drive from both of you! Tim’s truck is a beast! 🤙

Tyler.. great production mate. No theatrics, cars driven with mechanical sympathy… good job.
Best video you’ve made to date I think mate. Love both your trucks. Nothing like seeing capable trucks with great drivers smashing a challenge like that. Great drive!!
Awesome video!! 👍👍
Appreciate it mate!
Good effort cobba I did it solo years ago on my xr600 took 3 hrs and a week to recover proper ass kicking hehe
Awsome video 😎
Watching from the uk

Nice upload and content.
Well done, and keep going.

Tim and Tyler Tassie trip...worth the wait...loved it boys
Another ripper video mate. Great footage as always 👍👍
Brilliant video series Tyler, absolutely loved it, you showed the 1000 dollar track so much better than the big budged YT’s.
Thank you!
One track I never want to do. Epic to watch but 🙌👌

Awesome Tassie series👌👌👌

Haha cheers mate!
Your face said it all mate looked like you were having a blast 🤙🏴
That's more like the Tassie we know and love . We'll done boys and as usual, great video 👍
Love seeing some GQs hammering through some bog holes, this was a good one mate
You guy's are the Kings of $1000 track . Go the mighty GQ
That ultimate 9 torch is bloody awesome
Sure is!
Awesome video, great to see parts of the track not previously shown by other mobs. Way to drag the pumpkin
Makes me want to move to Tassie after watching these vids of yours Tyler,,,,,awesome content mate ,,,,
also love a man that 4wds wearing pink crocs, hahaha
Nice one guys......
Some nice turbo whistle action 🤙🕶
Seeing these rigs lift wheels is epic!
Living the dream mate keep it up… Tim seems to be a legend as well
Thanks TT
Cant beat a patrol for tough tracks 👌🏻
Epic, well done. Made it look easy.
Thanks 👍
Another mad episode and going past that ole white Nissan parked up on track side there should be other monuments along this synonymous track.
That was madness well done lads
Legend great drive

Top episode mate, really enjoyed it. I seen your thumbs on the inside of the steering wheel and cringed. Great west coast series guys😎👍
What a great series..top of the town.the Sherman went well.only a small hik up.😅....really good video and pics...tops.......🎉
Thank you!

Thanks!
Kool rigs 👍💪🏻

Wow awesome Tazzie adventures Tyler👍👍 Now that the gq has been run in, what mods would you like to do before your next adventure? Beside's trimming your guard's back a bit!!😆
Thanks! Nothing too much really, tint the windows and fix the aircon, new steering wheel, need some harder springs in the rear
Great job on this episode. Just like being there. There is no way I’d take my truck on that track:)
Awesome guy's! TO see real 4wds doin that 1000 buck track in 6 hrs unreal! This has to be the best 4wd show on RUclips for sure!
Thanks mate!
@@TylerThompson90 no worries mate 👍 Thank you for the awesome content
What a nasty track this is, love to do this with some mates. Love watching those videos and thumbs up for your humbleness of presentation.
Awesome
Good going where can I get one of those torches from please at the start of the video? At camp, Thanks
It's a special place $5000 dollar track 😅❤ you guys were there in peak Summer too 😢 we did the second half in the dark once. That was tough

Noice Epiosode... great stuff....
No better way to come home after spending the weekend training 100 scouts camp craft than to watch another awesome adventure.
It’s awesome to see some good old 4 wheel driving without all the hype and 20minutes of commentary at every bog hole.
I remember staying at the hut back in 2005. It looks so much harder now
Agree..just in 2 years or so it's become much harder. 37s and 40s do that. Blokes in the area atm have comp trucks on 37s and 38s. Can only get worse with so much heavy traffic.

Great stuff. Please take the LED Whips off, they’re supposed to go at the back. Let the duff duff P platers use them.

Great content. Who did ya bar work? Love 25:30 and 28:30
Cheers. On the side Fab in Newcastle
Some of those tree bases are bigger than the rigs. That mud plow action looks like hard work.
Wonder if an LED whip will make it easier for an IFS vehicle to get through it ?? Great vid fellas.
100%
Track is insane, puts the cape to shame buddy, r those Tyler seat covers going online???
They are from Razorback, they custom made them for me
So 37s and twin locked wasn't making it through, guess there's no point in me going in there with 33s.
We need new tracks for daily/legal 4wds
Like the current Liberal Govt promised? Ha..it's not gonna happen. In fact it's going the other way...
@@ericjohnson6802 bloody oath it is. So many have been shut down. Current tracks might just have to be maintained

Did you fit something to farlead roller to stop mud and shit getting in?
I think some chains snow change would actually help in that track
Would you rather do it with reduction gears in your gear box or without it ?
Doesn't really matter either way, reductions don't really benefit you much on this track but you are not loss having them
Wow! Awesome episode, vehicles, and people.
- Will you guys ever completely clean the cars from the mud gathered here? 😂
Thanks mate! Probably not haha
What are the antenna light whips for? Are the like a sand flag, or what? I have seen they are not an antenna. Genuinely intrigued!
