Been binge watching this Channel since i randomly found it and i gotta say, I'm basically giving up on PC Gaming to invest into 4WDing I honestly can NOT wait to hit some of these tracks.
Bro the first car I bought myself was a 1985 fj62 a couple months back. I only bought it because I really needed a 4wd where I live (and my hatchback got reversed into). Used to be addicted to gaming but I think 4 wheel driving is quickly replacing that addiction and it seems a lot healthier. More expensive though 🤣🤣 Such a cool vehicle
GREAT!! Thank you for making these videos available to the public!! I did a lot of offroading in Northern Arizona when I was in college. My truck had a permanent paint job on it.... comprised of MUD! It has been 14 years since college (wow time flys) and it was your videos that got me thinking about getting back into the offroad scene. I had trucks my whole life up til I was 32 and for financial reasons bought a Sonata. After a couple years with that car I needed badly to get back into a truck. 4WD ACTION pushed me in the right direction and now I have a 2017 Toyota Tacoma Dbl Cab Long Box 4X4!!! I am soooo in love with this vehicle. MY gf even enjoys going on offroad picknicks with me which is a great bonding experience. Thank you all for all the hard work you put into creating these videos I greatly appreciate them!
He did have plenty of room until the rear left kicked of the tree stump and punted it into the tree. Jock had the left side to look out for if anybody wants to pick the pepper out the shit. No harm done and great job overall Jock. 👍🇦🇺 Edit: Meant the rear right..😜

Totally true, mid size pick-ups are not able to handle 35"s on rough conditions. Hell, even going 33"s is pushing it. I remember having to replace upper control arms every 80-100.000 km on my Hilux with 285/75/16 tires and it wasn't offroading heavily every weekend. Mostly road and an occasional off-road on mud once a month
@@eduardosanchez7827 here in the US where we drive Tacomas (similar to hilux) we run Tundra steering racks and heim joints. You can run 37s with a setup like this. And by "run 37s" I mean it won't break.

Great film! I find it interesting that it's almost always the trucks with oversized tires and big lifts that end up breaking. The D Max gets through almost as well, I'd rather be stuck than broken any day 😀
Question for Shauno: How does the clutch in Sooty handle changing gears underwater - especially muddy water? Have you been through many clutches in any of your vehicles because of bog holes and water crossings?

i carry extra synthetic winch line (dyneema rope) instead of using ratchet straps for random fixes like the broken steering arm. it comes in a plethora of sizes, can be tied in a bowline knot, and is way stronger. thanks for the inspiration to get out there and chase down some dreams. cheers from the USA.

@@benhowell5790 way more. Custom turbo, intercooler work, the block also had a crack when purchased, that was fixed. The suspension is nearly 4k underneath because all the arms are replaced, the electrical system is huge, the barwork is custom excluding the rear bar. All their cars are super expensive, especially when most of it is sponsored
That Ranger WAS NEVER designed for huge tires and a lift. It's also why IFS has no business off road. As usual, the typical misconception of 'new' vs 'good'. Great video guys! Awesome as usual.
i think some people don't realize the reason why jocko were driving "graham's" dmax, and it was not graham siting on the passenger seat of jocko's hilux instead. in these recent episodes, dmax is the star, graham and shaun were only co starring, LOL... not complaining, though. as long as they keep posting new videos, i'm happy.
