Hmmm not really, I guess it’s some kind of version of borscht that is not quite popular. I only cook the regular one with beetroot, carrot, cabbage and potato
Sorry to criticize but I think a better , healthier diet than lots of dairy, bread products and sweet desserts would be 6 - 10 servings of colourful fruits and vegetables; broccoli, brussel sprouts, dark green lettuce, spinach, sweet potato and some fruit at breakfast. We are told to make our lunch and dinner plates very colourful.
That’s totally true! I usually eat lots of veggies, fruits, berries and fiber. Just wanted to show what Russian cuisine is. And yes, it’s not healthy, unfortunately 🙃
@@TanyaCaliGirl I've been watching videos of a couple of young Russian girls in Russia, preparing meals and I can see the diet is mainly dairy and bread...with sweet desserts. Meals do seem to be very 'beige'. Cucumbers seem to be popular...also beets of course which are so nutritious. I just cooked some today and I am thinking about making borscht. I like to try foods from different countries.
Looks great, I love seeing how others eat. Russian/east europe food always looks so hearty and comforting.
Thanks!😘

What patches did you use under your eyes?
Petitfee - Gold Hydrogel Eye Patch. They work better if you store them in the fridge :)
@@TanyaCaliGirl thank you!

@@Robinicat yeah it’s fun sometimes to try new dishes from different cultures!
I saw berries, peppers, greens, pomegranate, carrots, etc.. A pretty decent balance.
@@teutonic7113 well thanks, I tried to make those dishes as healthy as possible! It's not easy to do with Russian cuisine 😀
