P.S. About using acetone to clean sneakers: Any time you use acetone or nail polish you should always wear a mask and always have really good ventilation because those solvents (especially the acetone ) can cause serious health problems otherwize.

You may want to use chalkboard paint from a dollar store because chalkboard paint dries stretchy not stiff on non absorbent surfaces like leather of vinyl.Therefore it doesn't crack when it dries on those surfaces.Regular acrylic paint dries stiff on non absorbent surfaces like leather or vinyl and cracks in about fifteen minutes after drying.

It depends on how often you use the shoes and which terrains you walk all the time. But still, the key to prevent it from cracking is by applying thin layers of paint. But that shoe i made as of now is still fine and it's already been 3 months.
is it ok to not use water proof spray anyways?

@@vandanas2875 yes i have another video where i used that brand. That brand is actually better because it is specialized for shoes. But you will need a separate material for coating

Can we just do acrylic paint without any without any water proof spray as acrylic paint do not get removed by water
putting waterproof spray is still recommended. but if you want something more durable, use angelus acrylic leather paint. Then after painting, apply a finisher (angelus brand as well). but that would make it too glossy, so you can add a drop of duller in the finisher, mix them. then use that as coating on the paint. apply atleast 3 coats. that'll be very durable

Yup its better use a waterproof spray. Because normal acrylic paint is waterbased. So overtime if the shoes get wet, it will peel off soon

I don't think so. O did it on mine
No it wont ruin them.. but if you're using the shiny black shoes like the ones you use in formal events , a regular acrylic paint might not stick well.
