We went on a cruise 23 years ago and Aruba was one of the ports we stopped at, we loved the island so much that we bought a big souvenir, a timeshare! Such a great island with the friendliest people. Love ARUBA!
I was in Aruba back in early 80's when no one knew of Aruba. It had 3 hotels and hundreds of goats roaming the island. We have been back twice on cruises since then and could not recognize it. Glad we experienced it before all the growth and tourist and cruise ships.
We have been going to Aruba for 30+ years. The people and food are so GREAT we purchased 2 weeks to be able to spend more time on Our Happy Island> always a GREAT VACATION and can't wait to return again in 2023.
We rented our Gladiator from Jay's when we were there last October. They are the best! As for chapstick. Aruba Aloe makes a great sunblock/chapstick. All I used while we were there.
We were there in September. It poured rain. Torrentially. They said it was the first rain in six months. The streets were ankle deep in water, there are no storm drains because it is so dry. Intense lightning. It was awesome. I love Aruba
You are in a primo diving area. Get certified and add a new dimension to your travel. Scuba is so much better than snorkling. We spent a week diving in Curacao once. Fabulous!
My favorite island, it's beautiful. Palm Beach is amazing. If you ever go back, I'd recommend eating at Smokey Joe's Ribs or Fisherman's Hut. A great place for lunch is at Bugaloe's on the pier between the RIU and the Hilton.
First went to Aruba in 2000…on a P&O cruise ship port….taxi to Palm Beach ….first time I had EVER encountered a Caribbean beach in my life…turquoise ocean..white hot sand…I’d never seen anything so beautiful ❤..booked a hotel stay on that very same beach couple of years later for 2 weeks (that was 20 yrs ago)….we hired a car and visited Arashi (windy), Eagle beach and Baby beach on a roundtrip..loved the sunsets…then in 2019 visited again via a cruise ship and went to palm beach…not the same ..many hotels now and crowded..brought back nice memories for me but other members of the party didn’t like it 🙃
Love Aruba, was there a week and half ago on the RC Explorer. Eagle Beach is gorgeous. And walking all along in town is great. Shopping, Cuban cigar shops, food n dranks…. Ahhhhh
Baby Beach is amazing for snorkeling but Bonaire has THE best snorkeling/diving in the Caribbean. Love the ABCs. The cacti on the beach was just soo neat to me. 😅 Just booked another cruise back to the southern Caribbean on the Carnival Horizon. Thanks for the great content. ❤
I love watching you guys! I've never been on a cruise so been watching all of your videos to make myself familiar with them. I get motion sickness easily so am a little nervous.
I love your videos!!I was watching a few the other day, and saw your Mega Cozumel video. Loved it, we've been to Cozumel many times and Mega was always our go to for groceries! So cool to see it again. Then I saw your Panama City Beach video! My husband and I rented a condo on the beach for a month. My sister and her hubby were RVing. Surprised to see, my sister was in the same camp ground as you guys. So many coincedents!!!! Elisa how is your diet/workout going? I was enjoying that but havent seen any lately. Keep up the great work, Ill be watching. Laurie
I didn't think there were many all inclusive resorts in Aruba. We went on a cruise in 2017 and would love to go back. We took a public bus to Eagle Beach I think... or maybe it was Grand Caymen...LOL. know we took the little free tram around the downtown, and walked along the shore by the Renaissance Hotel. We did a sunset cruise on a catamaran too
Loved your videos first time I watched a few months back but, Will most likely be rewatching your Aruba and Curaçao videos multiple times as we’re cruising there early March 2024.😂 Thank you for all of the great recommendations, love your channel!!
Man! Prices on those Jeeps have gone up. We have always rented from that same place and never paid more than $100 and never filled it with gas until we brought it back. 😮
Absolutely gorgeous! Your friend said reminds him of CA. I know where he's talking about been there many times. But to me almost identical to the gulf side of Fl. Naples Marco Island. But the sand appears to be whiter in Florida. Could just be the filming. Always have wanted to go to Aruba❤ so thanks so much for the tag along😂
You asked the question "who forgets a body part!" Well the answer is ME! I forgot to put sunscreen on my arms one time and took a long walk down the beach. Didn't feel it until I put a sweatshirt on later and wondered why my arms felt so hot! I do believe I was talking while applying and got distracted. 😣
Thinking about renting a similar jeep through them. However, they mention drop off is 6pm. Did you have to drop off at that time? Also, how was it driving around with the soft top? We will be there in Feb, and wife is concerned about how hot it might get if we get soft top jeep.
Aruba is a desert island that’s too far south to get hit with hurricanes and stays at about 85 degrees year round. The restaurants are the best anywhere but they’re expensive, like everything else on the island.
Looks like a wonderful time! Sorry about Alisa's sunburn! That natural aloe will fix you right up! Just one teeny request.....could Alisa work on banishing that drawn out "Uhhhmmm" from her vocabulary? She's so articulate, there's no need for that kind of crutch. Hugs, you two!
Chapstick alert! Many people react to the combo of sun plus beeswax and lips get worse as days go by. My husband now uses vegan chapsticks and no more chapped lips! Fun fact - ABC islands are part of the South American continental shelf so are technically part of SA not the Caribbean. Add another continent to the checklist!
We went on a cruise 23 years ago and Aruba was one of the ports we stopped at, we loved the island so much that we bought a big souvenir, a timeshare! Such a great island with the friendliest people. Love ARUBA!
You can also easily take the public bus (2.75) straight to the beaches. Easy. We did on/ off all day to the same beaches!
We took bus for $2 to beaches
There is so much more to see in Aruba.
i have been to Aruba..i have never been to Bonaire. i have been to Barbados and Curacao
I was in Aruba back in early 80's when no one knew of Aruba. It had 3 hotels and hundreds of goats roaming the island. We have been back twice on cruises since then and could not recognize it. Glad we experienced it before all the growth and tourist and cruise ships.
Oh wow!!
We love Aruba. We usually buy aloe when we go in the sun too, but our tip is to put it in the fridge. It always helps take the sting out.
We have been going to Aruba for 30+ years. The people and food are so GREAT we purchased 2 weeks to be able to spend more time on Our Happy Island> always a GREAT VACATION and can't wait to return again in 2023.
I liked Aruba but fell in love with Curacao 😇
Curacao is so much different and unique. Aruba is great but felt like Miami but with drier climate.
Aruba aloe good stuff. The bottle on the second shelf from the top over your left shoulder with the blue label is something I always brought home!
Everything in Aruba comes to life at night ❤❤❤❤
Thanks for sharing!! I’m heading to the ABC’s in May on the celebration! Can’t wait ❤
Our first cruise 1996 & our first port was Aruba. We were just in awe of everything.
Love your hair Alyssa. Its growing back so cute!
We rented our Gladiator from Jay's when we were there last October. They are the best! As for chapstick. Aruba Aloe makes a great sunblock/chapstick. All I used while we were there.
Aruba, Jamaica,,,nice twist!
We were there in September. It poured rain. Torrentially. They said it was the first rain in six months. The streets were ankle deep in water, there are no storm drains because it is so dry. Intense lightning. It was awesome. I love Aruba
Oh wow! That was probably half the rain for the entire year!
How fun!! Love Aruba!
Thank you for sharing this with me. I can’t wait until we get to do that.
I love Aruba! ❤️
We used to stay at Bucuti on Eagle Beach. Really nice beach.
Thank you, enjoy the time with yall

Just spent a few days in the ABC Islands. What a Wonderful Experience. So glad it was part of our world cruise.

We had a great time in Aruba last November. We did a coach tour that went into the National Park to look at caves and a cove. Was a great excursion.
many very interesting videos from Aruba
Looks like a fun day
Love Aruba as well. We purchased the exact same aloe gel that you guys did and we found it works great.
Great video as always!
Alisa We have Carmack lip balm because we get chapped lips all the time. It helps SO much. Just a suggestion.
We honeymooned in Aruba almost 27 years ago. Planning to return for our 30th anniversary. Great vlog.
Thank you for making this video! I'm going there next year for my first time. You gave a great feel for the island 🏝 ❤
A jeep tour sounds fun. I’ve never been in in a jeep like that. Someday I’ll visit Aruba
Bad tornadoes around Alexandria where you live I would call your boys
I just heard that!
You can order that Aloe on line. Found that shop back in 2017 and LOVE IT.
Love it! ❤
Love Aruba, was there a week and half ago on the RC Explorer. Eagle Beach is gorgeous. And walking all along in town is great. Shopping, Cuban cigar shops, food n dranks…. Ahhhhh
wonderful video....hello from illinois
I use white vinegar for sunburns.

For $250 I would expect the jeep to have a full tank of petrol.
Since the e paid cash it was $200. But yeah, gas would’ve been nice.
Should have been but they love to nickel and dime you in all these islands.
I would expect lunch and dinner too

Laurie
Not doing excellent on the diet but working at it every day. Thank you so much ☺️
@@EECCTravels Way to go!!
You always have great cruises. That was funny to see the ice cream truck. Cheers.!😊

There aren't, compared to other countries. I think only 14% of total visitors stay in an AI
That's fried pancake with cheese. But there is keshi yena, which is a cheese covered stew.

Looks like a fun time
We were t that beach in October. It was great!
Aruba looks good and a great way to see the place in the Jeep, would love to do this ❤
It really is!
Man! Prices on those Jeeps have gone up. We have always rented from that same place and never paid more than $100 and never filled it with gas until we brought it back. 😮

Awesome video!!
Aruba is another stop I'm going to in February. Good video. 😊
Beautiful
Love Aruba! Did you snorkel at Arashi Beach? Did you collect some sand?
We did
You asked the question "who forgets a body part!" Well the answer is ME! I forgot to put sunscreen on my arms one time and took a long walk down the beach. Didn't feel it until I put a sweatshirt on later and wondered why my arms felt so hot! I do believe I was talking while applying and got distracted. 😣
The 4x4 day rental looked interesting. Can you explain the process used to contact and rent the jeep?
Called them on the phone and booked it

Where do you keep your phone and things while your swimming at the beach?

Aruba Aloe Company makes the best products, especially their sunscreens!
Yes, it was really helpful on my burn.
Which part of the Caribbean do I book for cruise, Eastern, Western.
Aruba is Southern Caribbean
Great vlog!
Alisa just curious where did you get your rashguard ?
It actually was just a long sleeve shirt from Walmart but worked well as a swim shirt!!
❤❤❤❤

Just put all liquids in your checked baggage. If it's thirsty check it
What's the name of the place u rented jeep from
I honestly don't remember but we should have shown or mentioned it in the video.
$250 for a one day rental? Whew that’s steep.
We split the cost
Rodriguez Charles Clark Donald Garcia Jason
you have an odd expression on your face in the thumbnail
Great video!
