I was in the band when Wayne decided to bleach his hair ( Muncie Indiana 1965) I was playing with Johnny and Edgar Winter in Bossier City when Wayne met us He liked the way the lights reflected off the white hair , I joined The CC Riders about 4 months later.
The CC Riders were the best R&B copy band with a great show for the time period. IMHO

David Holliday , I told Sean(a) Yuslet bassist in Star and Dagger that her and vocalist Von Helsing had such white hair that my crappy camera just burns out white balance on their hair like when I shot the Winters or Leon Russell , ha . The girls are easy on the eyes as well as rocking Blue Cheer style , go see them and tell them what you've done .

God Bless you and yours, Reverend Wayne Cochran from Upson County, Ga. my home sweet home brother!

Swingin' Time featured 50 to 75 local kids dancing six days a week to the top billboard hits. Each show, two teens were chosen to offer "yea" or "boo" opinions on new records. The 30-minute weekday shows were broadcast live, and the hour-long Saturday show was taped early in the day and aired at 3 pm.

That's not a shuffle, but it is a cookin' drummer and band. Shuffles are syncopated, and for a drummer there must be a hundred variations of how a shuffle is played.

I'm from the same hometown he is, and there is no mention of him or honor for him or anything here. I only found out about him because of Tina turners autobiography and I looked him up. That's crazy he is never mentioned here.

Gary Busey would still be winning oscars if he'd had this hair style or a helmet when he laid that motorcycle down !
