I don’t feel bad for Dwight. The way he acts around Michael and some of the things he does makes me feel he brings it on himself. I have to say, I think he is the nicest person in the office. He just takes some things too far. I think Jim’s pranks are just a way to put Dwight in his place along side of entertainment.

Dwight goes out of his way to make Pam and Jim’s lives less pleasant, constantly trying to devise ways to get Jim fired. All’s fair
I think one of the best ones was the simple forehead stare, the way Dwight stands up and walks away like a pigeon
I like how Dwight listens in on the Buttlicker phone call as though Jim isn't in the room with them
And the way Michael covers the phone 😂
Jim impersonating Dwight never gets old. Bears Beets Battlestar Galactica. Identify theft isn’t a joke. Remains one of my favorites. I also really enjoy all Dwight’s things in the Vending Machine❤️
And how the nickels he handed Dwight to get his wallet from the vending machine were the same ones used to weigh down the handset! 🤣

Says the guy who keeps weapons stashed around the office, brought his spud gun into work, pepper-sprayed Andy without provocation, fired a gun indoors while acting as interim manager, and started a fire in the office.
In retrospect, that designation should have stayed on his badge.

Yeah, I love it when people say that Jim would be fired if it was real life but then completely gloss over all the terrible things Dwight did. If it was real life, Dwight would probably be in a prison.

I wish they had the one where Jim suggests they prank someone by screwing their desk drawer so it only opens 2 inches. And Dwight says that’s dumb and wouldn’t be annoying. So Jim does it to Dwight a little later on and Dwight’s plenty annoyed.
I have never seen a single episode of the show, and I never understood why people loved so much, but after watching this video it makes me want to get into it
I felt much the same way until I started watching Office marathons during COVID. In its first run, the commercials I saw looked totally stupid, so I never watched the show. Between RUclips clips and the COVID marathons, I finally got to see what the big deal was. The Office deserved more Emmys than it received; although The Big Bang Theory was no slouch, I suspect there were backstage politics at work that favored TBBT over The Office. ☹️

Correct. When a chimp bares all of its teeth, it’s not a smile… you may want to exit Stage Right at that point. If a chimp shows only its lower teeth and the face is relaxed, the chimp is in a good mood.
Technically there are several chimp facial expressions that look similar to our smile. One is a fear grimace, another expresses aggression, and another actually is something alone the lines of relaxed/happy like a human smile.

As awful as pranking someone over and over again can be, the thing is, Dwight makes the perfect straight man because he takes it so seriously. Part of me thinks Dwight eventually came to enjoy it and one day was able to prank him right back and Jim couldn’t even say it wasn’t deserved

I'm so glad I finally got into the show, and I only got into the show like a couple of days ago LOL. It was just on TV or something and I saw Will Ferrell in an episode and I just started watching.

I didn’t get into it during its original run, either. The commercials made it look like they were just clowns. During COVID, I came across it on TV; seeing an actual episode helped everything fall into place. It’s now up there in my top 5 TV shows going back to the 60s.

I got into the office late but right when I was supposed to.. this show got me through my fiancé passing away after my dad passed away after I lost my house and my dog..still watch it when I need to feel some kind of happiness. this show numbs the pain for me.

That scene was illustrated on an episode of “The Office Ladies” animated series on RUclips with the voices of Jenna Fischer and Angela Kinsey where they depicted those pranks as Michael read them. They didn’t actually show her “on the can” but did show Dwight’s horrified look as he beat it out of the rest room! 🤣
