did you ever see the episode jim threw the party at his place, while jim was talking with pam in his room you saw a copy of COD on his desk, so people thought this could’ve been like when jim made pam teach him how to drive stick
I wish they kept the Jan/Jim COD scene in the original episode. It showed Jan as being much more relaxed in Stamford and hinted at the two of them getting along really well.
It was also pretty hypocritical this was after she yelled at Michael for watching a movie in the office but doesn't care that Josh is playing Call of Duty. It shows she was probably always planning on replacing Michael with Josh.
The hypocrisy in jan, she's fine letting the Stanford branch playing COD, but in that same episode she's pissed that the Scranton branch watches a movie
1. She hates Michael, she disagrees with anything he does 2. She figures that one set hour of gaming a day is better than 1.5, 2 hours or possibly 2.5 hours of watching a movie
12:02 Angela Kinsey is such an amazing actress...not just in this scene but throughout the show. She portrays subtle nuances that makes her acting look so natural.
I mean that is an actual trick people do, he just missed that part where you are supposed to show everyone beforehand that it is a normal deck of cards.

No, in the Office Ladies Podcast for that episode they say that the writing/production staff of the Office just liked to play Call of Duty with each other during work. They apparently took it pretty seriously and decided that at some point they wanted to include COD in an episode. No sponsorships.
That moment at the end there where Michael’s…eccentricities…actually work for him to accentuate the song is so wholesome. I love seeing the office come together like that

Jim pretended to be a noob in COD to get closer to Karen. Same way he confessed in his wedding he pretended he doesnt know how to drive to get closer to Pam. In Jim's room in Season 2 we see a COD game cd.
That would mean he liked her right from the start because they play regularly and why would he pretend to be bad right as he started working there.. wouldn’t impressing the new boss trump some girl?
@@torikrasovska He didn't really want to impress the new boss. Him being smart and being appreciated by corporate was just a perk. The reason he left Scranton because he was hurt and jealous because of Pam and felt there's no chance getting married. Stay smart, focus on moving on with another girl.
I mean, just cuz he has a copy of the game that doesn't mean he's ever actually played it. Heck, my steam library is littered with games I haven't gotten around to playing yet 😅

That’s the thing, the Scranton branch is almost always the best performing branch outright though. So being more strict is clearly just an issue with michaels philosophy
Jim giving Pam such a cold response to her embracing him when he comes back is one of the most heartbreaking moments in the show. To add insult to huge injury, you have to see Jim being all chummy with Karen in the same episode.
He was just guarding his heart, not being intentionally cold. He obviously is in love with her but thinks she doesn’t return the feelings. So he’s not gonna just put his heart out there again. It’s on her now
