one day i'm going to do one of these, or maybe a 24 hour race. something that isn't just a set distance. seems cool. Thanks for the film and nice effort all.
Round here we have a "running up for air" challenge --- running up 10k, ~1000m up a peak and down as many times as you can in 6/12/24 hours. Maybe that can be a start - don't skip your hills though.

There is something so cool and so crazy about this event. I’d love to try this .....I think!
i've heard they are great ways to go get a personal best for your distance, because as opposed from going from 50k all the way to 50 miles (80K), you can tap on just another 6k and see if you want to keep going.
That and the loops are generally fairly flat and friendly.
