Hi Stephanie, Love your recipes. I just wanted you to know that I appreciate how you take the time to explain each steps. You are very clear and clairvoyant as to the problems that I may experience, like using frozen blueberries. I thought I let you know cause the posted questions for pan size and substituting fresh for frozen blueberries were addressed in your video. I usually watch you show at least twice to absorb your techniques. Thank you for your recipes and all your work.
I tried this cake this weekend, but instead of blueberries, I tried to used roselle flowers as my mom grow them in our garden. Blueberries are expensive where I'm from, so I got the idea of using roselle flowers. The result is yummy! The natural red color from the flowers makes a beautiful contrast, the flower are sour when eaten on their own, so combined with the sweet streusel, the result are sweet, sour, fluffy and pretty cake. Thank you for the recipe!
Hi Stephanie, I wish I had a mother like you... I your children is so lucky to have you. My mother dies when I'm 7years old so nobody bakes for us. Take care always! Please keep uploading more videos. God bless!
I made this today for a family get together and everyone loved it. My pan was a 9 inch square and I found 30 minutes in the oven to be sufficient. I made it exactly as the recipe called for and it was perfect! Thank you, Stephanie x
I baked this recipe using blueberries in one cake and cinnamon apples in another and it was delicious! i used canned and fresh blueberries and it's probably one of the best things I've made from scratch
So, since my birthday is in two days, I decided to bake myself a cake. I'm so happy I found this recipe! I absolutely love it. It's so delicious and it came out perfectly! You explained things very well and it was so easy to follow along.
I just did the recipe had only a cup of blueberry add to that 1/2 cup dried cranberries had it in my pantry... came out very very good and nice color thank you very much
This is an amazing recipe...... I love all your recipes for the fact that they have less butter when compared to other recipes and they still taste very good
I just give it a try and boy oh boy did my family and I enjoyed it ... we coukdnt wait for it to cool completely we ate all in one go and now there's a second batch in the oven yum yum
just finished baking this and it is amazing, couldn't wait for it to cool down, I usually cut the sugar by half, I forgot to do it in the streusel topping and it was too sweet for my taste buds, but I did cut the sugar in the cake and it was perfect and I used almond milk, awesome!!
Baked this today and I love it.. Thank u so much Miss Jaworski coz im learning a lot from watching your videos.. Your recipes are really delicious and you explain very well that its very easy to understand.. Thanks a lot :D
Using best quality ingredients makes all the difference, butter for example, Swiss style tastes amazing while regular butter gives bland tasting cakes.Another important ingredient is pure vanilla extract.thanks Stephanie for your helpful tips.

Hi Stephanie, can I use a 9 inch round pan instead of the 8 inch square pan? I don't have a square pan and would like to save the money to get one if the round pan will work as well. Thanks for your time. This cake looks so good, I will make it as soon as I get your ok on the round pan. :)

Hello Mrs Stephanie ! I like to make a 9x13 pan so could I double your recipe or just 11/2 recipe ? and what temperature and baking time ? could you please advise ! I have been a fan of your baking recipe Thank you for all your hard work and thank you for your time to reply back Mrs Stephanie .
roshan maben Hi Roshan. I was wondering if you already tried using blueberry filling instead of fresh blueberries? I actually have the same question as you, and it would be a big help if you'll respond to this question. Thanks in advance! 😊
You could try using another type of fruit, instead of the blueberries. Sorry, but I've never actually tried using a jam, so I really don't know how it would be.
I would love to make this cake , i like the idea of putting Blueberries on top rather than mix with the batter as they sink underneath even if you coat them with little flour.
Hi, made this with fresh blueberries and it was a hit for thanksgiving everyone loves it. My son wants some more but all i have in hand now are frozen mixed berries. Do i have to defrost and drain? Thanks in advance
Hi Stephanie! I'm an avid subscriber from the Philippines. I baked some of your recipes & i love them all. I'd like to try this one but berries (blueberries, raspberries & blackberries) are not readily available in my country, what can i use instead? Thanks so much!

Yes, you could use mango or another type of fruit in this cake.
Can I use frozen blueberries?
Yes, you could use a 9 inch pan. The baking time, however, would be a little less since the cake would be not as thick.
I made this cake today and it was delicious! Thank you for sharing and a great way of explaining exactly what to do 💗

Thanks for sharing!!!!!!!
If the cake part is crumbly it is probably over baked. Your oven may be running a little hot, I would check it earlier with a toothpick.
i love your videos soooooooooooooooo much
I made it today in a loaf pan and less than 2 cups of raspberry. A bit sour but delicious.
Me quedó delicioso!!! Gracias!
Great cake
Thanks for the recipe i tried it today and I replaced the white sugar on the top with dark brown sugar and it was PERFECT

Hi Stephanie, Really a very good and mouth watering recipe. As we are vegetarians what can I substitute the egg with? Kindly advice. Thx.
All the recipes give pan sizes, and I say in all the videos what size pan I'm using.
Looks great!🍴😋👍 would it b ok if I use brown sugar for the topping?

This lady knows what's she's doing
Hi, made this with fresh blueberries and it was a hit for thanksgiving everyone loves it. My son wants some more but all i have in hand now are frozen mixed berries. Do i have to defrost and drain? Thanks in advance
I would add the frozen berries directly to the batter. The cake will take a few minutes longer to bake since the berries are frozen.
Joy of Baking thank you so much. Your the best. 😍
I like the cake
wow that looks sooo yummy =]
I always prefer a higher cake. Can I use a load pan instead and at what temperature and duration so that it's not overtakes?
Hi Stephanie! I'm an avid subscriber from the Philippines. I baked some of your recipes & i love them all. I'd like to try this one but berries (blueberries, raspberries & blackberries) are not readily available in my country, what can i use instead? Thanks so much!
You could use another type of fruit. If using a fruit, say like a peach, cut into slices.
Hi Stephanie, can I make this as muffins instead of baking in a square pan? How long would I need to bake for and at what temp?
Shen giggled :O 6:46 !
At 10:20 when you slice the buckle, what brand knife is that? That's a plastic knife, yes? I would like to get one that size.
Thanks.
Hi, I have a request. nutella is one of the most delicious things ever :) could you make a nutella cake ? (including nutella in batter and glaze ?). that would be so wonderful, thank you.
Hi Stephanie, I just made this cake..thanks for your recipe! it tastes really good..but its kinda thin..do you have any idea why is it like that?
Whenever I use a pan like that I like to line it with then use non stick spray😀👍
Yum....
If I use a loaf pan, how long and at what temperature pls? Thanks!
I'm sorry, but I've never made this cake in a loaf pan so I'm not sure of the baking time. However, I would bake it at the same temperature.
I was about to ask a similar question. Thank you!
Tequila&Tea Just keep a check and use a toothpick.
Can i use blueberry can n also almond flour instead of all purpose flour
thanks for the recipe :)
Could you double the batter to make the cake even thicker?
Yes you can do that.
Can I make this in a 9x13 cake pan ?
For how many degree Celsius are we suppose to bake?
