- Welcome to my week of Luminous Legends, let's dig into this palette and see what it can do. I will just keep going until I get tired of it. Not sure how many looks I will do but a min of 5 for sure. Hope you enjoy!!!

Beautiful look, indeed! I adore Lunar Luxury, but now I am salivating over the lilac in this new palette.
They are very similar texture-wise.

Give it a bit of time to settle...for me usually if I really want something, I keep thinking about it....but often enough after watching some videos and time has passed, I lose interest.

It’s crazy how warm Rosey Beige look on you. I’m pale and cool-toned, slightly olive, and on me it really leans rose. The whole look is gorgeous, the pop of colour in the inner corner is dreamy!
Aaah perhaps it’s lighting but I think it looks quite neutral rosy on me. But could also be that on your skintone it is pulling a slightly different tone.

You look fabulous Mariam! I keep thinking about getting the Inglot primer, but I really don't need one now I have Phoebe from Lisa Eldridge: it is a super, smoothing(!) transition shade on me AND is a fabulous primer, if I put something on top. 😊 Best wishes, Anne

You're only the second person I've watched that applies eyeshadow on the right eye with the right hand and the left with the left. I think that's so cool. I wish I could do that.
You are not the first one to comment about this and funnily enough, I do it subconsciously. The explanation is: I am originally a lefty but my mom advised me to write with my right hand as it is easier.
@mariam.a. ooohhhhh okay, that makes sense. I was a lefty as a baby and toddler. My mom said my dad kept "correcting" me and I became right-hand dominant.

Soup with my right, other foods with my left 😆.

This look is BEAUTIFUL!!! When my palette arrives, (I ordered it and the duo right after watching your initial video) this will be the first look I recreate. I adore blues and Brian’s together! (And Lunar a luxury will always have a place in my heart (and makeup drawer!)

Oh now I want the big palette even though I don’t wear these colors often! Always wait for your thorough reviews on holiday Pat eyeshadow releases. I don’t have many. I have 9 motherships and 4 quads and 2 quints from last years holiday. I skipped last years big palette, and regret it.

The look is beautiful, and with that lipstick . Wow! Thanks for the information on the Gucci highlighter. I’ve been looking at it for awhile and just wasn’t sure if I should indulge. Seems like many people have been underwhelmed with it. I think it will be a pass for me. Can’t wait for the remaining Luminous Legend videos!

You nailed it. For a scientist you’re exceptionally good with colour (repeatedly). You would have made a great designer or creative, just saying :) Ok, this palette is a definite vibe - bright, festive and impactful. While I’m not sure it’s for me, I am definitely up for watching you put it through its paces. Loved the end look with what you are wearing today. 10/10
When I was little I loved drawing, and I used to draw designs for dresses specifically. I think somewhere in the mutliverse there is a Mariam who found her vocation in fashion haha.
I feel the same way about all the videos on the new DM Lightworks palette, I can have appreciation for it but it is not for me.

Speaking of brown too, I finally got a restock notification about Meet Me in Berlin. It seems like it’s been a year since it went OOS for us here in the US, no joke. But I saw someone swatch it next to some of the Merit brown lipsticks and now I’m on the fence haha 🫠

Hmmm I guess then it comes down to formula, as you know the lucents are quite a unique take on sheer lipstick.
This look is stunning, and really looks great with Decade. Yesterday, you had me thinking I didn’t need Celestial Jade because I have the dupe, but I missed out on the Droid palette, so maybe now I need Luminous Legends! Lol. Still going to wait for a sale, though. But, damn, if this look doesn’t make me want this palette.
Oh yes - I still crave for divine droid!
Divine Droid has a lime green that I legit hope she will repeat in another quint at some point.

You know I actually would say that Moonit Mist has more of a translucent base and almost has a topper vibe, that's why Secret Blueprint appears brighter.
Ah I definitely prefer your format of 5 separate videos, instead of having 5 looks in one video! I feel one gets more of a feel for what they think of a palette, when they use it more often.
Otherwise, it's just a first impression. Nothing wrong with that, but a first impression and a proper review are different things to me.
I completely agree!!!! I like that better too. It is not as fast, and people want fast these days...but I get a much better idea of the product when I wear it for several days and full days too.
I have fair cool toned freckled skin and lots of redness. Is that highlight pink? I’m wondering if it might flatter me because lots of stuff pulls gold when that’s not necessarily what I want.
It is definitely pink. There is no gold tone in here that I can detect...more of a cool silver-ish sheen.
So pretty! It looks a bit like the Bridgerton mint shade. Perfect match with your top. I also realized that my Lavendaring requires a similar application as the quints. Wore it today! 🩵🩵

Mint in Bridgerton is def much more green this one leans so much more blue. I was actually hoping for this one to be quint version of the green but alas. Perhaps some day…
