I got the quad when Charlotte posted about it and I’m so glad I did. It’s really pretty and I think will be great for travel. Definitely more warm toned too.

I got the quad and LOVE it. I saw it when I was looking for the holiday palettes and then stalked the website waiting for it to drop. I love this blush it’s like a pink leaning terracotta.
Thanks for tracking down the repeats. I have many of them. Like you I love Mood Exposure. But it isn't that deep. I'm Fair/Light and it works on me easily. I can't imagine it for deep skin tones. I have the Jellyfish palette (in the Leopard case) and I'm surprised they pulled so much from it. I have these palettes going back to the first one, I even have the Ghost palette. But I agree with you that 6 palettes at this time of year is very odd. Hope you're enjoying being back in the DC area!💚
I use Mood Exposure over a plum cream blush to make it into a powder blush. I bought the single and had to figure out what to do with it. Doesn’t work on me otherwise.

I think that quad was meant to be a asian exclusive thing or something, because I was able to purchase it 12th Sept. It came out before the holiday palettes online in China. It has the same packaging as sculpture as that palette is still super popular currently in China - referred to as the 'bunny' palette. So they promoted this new one as 'bunny' version 2
I'd be interested in the quad to keep in my makeup bag for travel!

That’s how I use it too, since I am beyond the stage of being able to wear highlighter without looking ridiculous. It’s gorgeous on the eyes.

Just to say I’m on the lighter side of light medium and I’m a massive fan of the At Night blush - it’s beautiful ❤ highly recommend picking it up as a single if you aren’t getting the palette it’s in 😊
I would've wanted the quad out of all the holiday and Barneys palettes. Will have to check out the site if it ever becomes available again.
I have that quad and OMG it is perfect - the blush is so so gorgeous. I can't stop wearing this palette. Seriously my fave from all of their palettes. For reference I am a light-medium with warm undertone ;-) xx

I got the Dragon palette this year so I definetly can't afford anymore, but if I were to buy only the vol. III would be worth it as I have all the other shades but if it's being marketed as medium/deep then it's too dark for me. Also, I don't know of we can get these in the UK.
I love these videos on Hourglass, I don’t even know why lol. I just know that their formulas are so good that I never have to worry about it. I bought the dragon palette, the lotus palette and the quad so these are definitely a no go for me.
I have 2 palettes. Enjoy them tremendously. They're just too expensive for me

The Rose Edit quad that was sold at Nordstrom over the summer is a palette with the older gold packaging (which I prefer). I love their quads so I picked it up and it ran REALLY warm. This quad says COMING SOON which means it's coming soon! It says Sold Out until then. Lots of websites do this, including Sephora. But its "blush" is way too warm toned and looks like a highlighting bronzer topper shade to me. Pass.
The II palette is tempting. I have the Jellyfish and wouldn't mind duplicates of the highlighter plus the Elephant blushes I don't own. Not sure if the bronzer in that palette is warm? I am done with orange bronzers and Tin Man highlighters. I returned the Dragon palette. I liked the cooler bronzer but the blushes were both straight up peach.
Wish they would produce a fully cool toned palette, like Jellyfish but with a cool bronzer. I used to be an Hourglass collector but I will not drop $90 until I can use every shade. Plus I soured when they wouldn't let me use my promo code on an exchange palette. BOO Hourglass!!
I have the quad, it was supposed to be an asia/china exclusive palette i think, hence the moon rabbit on the packaging (the palette was called moon rabbit palette at the chinese retail sites) as that was how it was advertised. surprised that they launched it in the global website too
I adore the Hourglass formula, these are really my favourite powders, but often I am confused about the colours they choose- for example, almost every time the highlighters for light palettes are too dark - in the Butterfly, Dragon, even the new quad, the only one that I can use is in the Jellyfish. And now the Bronzers - for collaboration with Barneys vol II for light complexion they put a very warm, almost orange bronzer and for the Volume III which is for darker complexion they’ve put the Lunar Bronzer from Jellyfish which is almost like the finishing powder from this palette 🤷🏻♀️

Hourglass is so expensive ,it would make sense to launch early before the Sephora sale, Christmas, and tax season. Let you think about your options and pick your favorite. So ppl are less likely to return items for the new item they didn’t know about. It’s the season for shopping. Those pallets make good gifts. ❤

When they roll these out right after their holiday palettes, that's when I know there's no excuse for Hourglass to not make deeper shades for their holiday sets. It's definitely not a question of whether they have the ability to produce more palettes.

They're pretty yet all 3 warm bronzers - if you're on that spectrum and don't own most shades (basics like Soft Light excluded of course).. they're a nice mix. But why these warm bronzers in light palettes? This matches pretty much only one skintone. At least the Vol. III/deep option makes sense.

I’m not mad about it. Hourglass is kind of makeup that I use with non stop. As a pale gal I can use Hourglass as eyeshadow or contour or bronzer and blush. The quality their products are amazing. And if people want to get different prints on the packaging just go with it. Personally I wouldn’t buy any package with evil eye on it. Please, don’t be upset about repeated new releases with new packaging because the quality of Hourglass products still unbeatable. 🙌❤️🙌
Agree. Do you only buy the lightest collection as a fair individual or can you get away with the medium palette too? I don’t really buy individual blushes or bronzers anymore. But I let myself but the hourglass palette every year.
@@kyleemaliwauki2682 I buy the lightest palette. The other darker palettes look on me to too dark and/or too orangey. I have fair skin with olive undertone that’s why it’s very difficult for me to find a powders with truly neutral shades. 🙌❤️

Ok. Ok that volume 2. Ooomph wow. Every single shade speaks to me. Sure the bronzer is slightly warmer than I’d like. But wow. Ok. Yessss. Honestly loving it much more than the holiday ones this year. Wow ok.

It’s funny because the blind flush is the only full-size hourglass product I own I guess they don’t sell it on its own anymore. meanwhile I thought I was buying the other pallet and so then when I went back and looked online, it was sold out everywhere and I’ve just given up ever since

I’ve been disappointed in their palettes that cater to fair to light skin tones. We keep getting 2 finishing powders in those while the medium and deep palettes have one finishing powder and they get an additional blush or highlight. I also think the bronzers are way too warm in the fair to light palettes as well.
I agree, my holy grail Hourglass bronzer was in the Ghost palette which Morgan mentioned for the Sublime Flush blush, each year I hope they bring it back because they don’t sell it individually :( this year the Dragon palette looks interesting because the bronzer in that one looks pretty neutral but I don’t like the other shades that much so I’m not sure if I should get it or not :/

I stumbled upon a cool-toned version of Makeup By Mario's Ethereal Eyes Palette with a stunning blue accent at Sephora inside Kohl's. Surprisingly, it's flown under the radar 😳 Why isn't anyone raving about it?🤔
I was so disappointed in the packaging pictures of the limited edition holiday pallettes that I had pretty much decided that I was going to skip it this year. In addition to the packaging, the two hot pink blushes that look basically the same and the fact that it’s winter was super disappointing. But that quad looks really pretty and I might pick that up.
I miss my Ghost Edit palette so much! I used it until all the pans were empty.

The quad that came out in the UK was the Golden Rose palette. It eventually came to Nordstrom and I have that one. It has a very rosy marbled blush called Iridescent Rose, a Dim Infusion blush and Golden Bronze Light. This quad is different but yes the gold packaging is the same.

I jumped over to the hourglass site and checked out Volume 2…. Was just checking her out…. And I swear to you I accidentally ordered it! I would have at least liked to sign up for emails and get 10% off since it would have been my first order with them! I am feeling like I should perhaps try and stop the order before it ships bc I was planning on NOT spending any money on makeup this month but as I continue to watch your video I am torn.
Volume 1 (elephant palette in barney’s packaging) sold out online in less than 24 hrs and Hourglass hasn’t answered anyone on whether it’ll be restocked. Which sucks for everyone who wasn’t able to get the elephant palette 2 years ago and wanted those shades. But I’m guessing they won’t restock since it’s limited edition.
I emailed hourglass and they are not bringing the Dream Edit back they confirmed that this was a VERY LIMITED drop and is gone for good now. Super terrible of them for everyone that missed out

Ugh, I wish that Dream Edit was still available. It's a little less expensive, which I woukd appreciate to try Hourglass for the first time, and has nice colors. I hate that the lightest big pallettes have two finishing powders rather than two blushes and I am very fair, so not sure the second volumes would work for me. Grr!

The dream edit is my DREAM PALETTE 😢 FINALLY a peachy blush! I had this in my shopping cart and wanted to come back to it the next morning. And then?pooof it was gone! I"m so sad. I texted hourglass and they said there is no date for Release. I joined a waitlist but now it says unavailable😢😢😢😢
Another RUclipsr did a review on the dream edit palette and said it’s kind of the same shade as the peachy color in the dragon palette but with no extra glow. I loved the peachy shade in the palette, it’s my favorite blush. So I would recommend that as an alternative if possible.

I got both Barney's pallets . Now my hg collection is complete. No more. I bought 5 hg pallets this year cuz I have only had one. Now I'm good. I have a few singles and 2 pallets with 3 colors. I don't think there's any duplicates in what I have. Can't wait to get them.
