      Thanks… I think I still need a lot more improvement… but if I can keep working on my videos… I hope to keep improving… … …
Haven’t seen any videos from you in a while… Some Gundam would be nice…
I started looking through old Gundam I remember… and I really like Gundam 0080 War in Pocket… kind of sad story… but it’s good…

Perceptor and Blaster were definitely together in the 86 movie- they fought the Casseticons together! 😊

Yeah… I totally loved that scene cause it was the first time we saw Eject, Rewind Steeljaw, and Ramhorn…

Sorry but all that extra detail doesn’t belong if you want a toon accurate look. Skullface can have his detail but his belittling of fans of true toon accurate is insulting. His beloved extra detail figs are based on that same “children’s cartoon.”
This 86 Prime looks good in truck mode but in robot mode he only really works from the front. The massive back on him and the missing parts on his hips ruin this figure. The 3rd party figs put these Hasbro figures to shame. Magic Squares Light of Peace Prime features everything this figure has and doesnt have that horrible backpack, missing parts on the hips, unnecessary detail work (IF you prefer toon accurate) and it transforms. My only gripe is the window color but I can fix that if I want. I will never have to buy another Optimus Prime ever after MS’s fig. I will be picking up this 86 Prime since I have all of the 86 releases, but that’s it for Primes for me unless Hasbro gets with the program figures out how to properly engineer a TF to not have a backpack. If the 3rd parties can do it so can the multi-billion dollar company.

I hear you… and want to respond with my thoughts…
First, Bobby’s opinions on details… is based on his personal preference… and there as some aspects of it that I agree with… and some that I don’t…
However, like you, I too find insulting… when he belittles… others opinions as wrong… when he asserts his opinions / preference as a objective right… when in fact it is a subjective… based on each individual’s personal preference for aesthetics…
That said, I do prefer the toon look… but I also appreciate the details when they are done well… from an Art & Design perspective…
Fact is, there is no right or wrong to subjective preference… but… when it is judged in the context of toon accuracy… then it is… either toon accuracy or not…
I’m all for toon accuracy… but I’m also flexible / forgiving when it’s not… As such, I try to be objective with my opinions when judging… so I try to consider the criteria and context… i.e., Masterpiece / Retail / Legends, cost, etc…
As for Studio Series 86 Optimus Prime… Considering that it is not a Masterpiece figure… and the budget cost for a Mainline Retail figure… I think that it is a well made figure (7/8 / 10)… but… there are several issues with the figure that I consider minor… such as the missing side hip skirts, the flimsy smoke stacks, etc…
The Magic Squares Light of Peace Prime… is a really nice figure… and it does capture the toon aesthetics better than any other figure we’ve gotten thus far…. BUT… it’s not a fair comparison with Studio Series 86 Optimus Prime… because it’s not a Masterpiece figure… So to be fair, I have to keep the two separate in different categories…
I appreciate your thoughts… and I too like the Magic Square Optimus… and have many other complaints with Hasbro…
