I don‘t doubt he and Max are going to be 2 of the main characters of f1 in the future. But it always depends on the car as well, so lets see where everybody ends up.

Also, before shitting on seb- here are a few facts to consider:
His Q2 was compromised and had to use up 2 sets of tyres leaving him with one used set in Q3
In Q3 he only had ONE run, with which he managed P2. I'm taking nothing away from Charles. As a Ferrari fan I am over the moon.
and the fact in that one run, he made just one mistake, which if didn't he would have been 0.050 of Leclerc
Vettel fans already come with excuses...
I think we Ferrari fans should car more about constructor’s title rather than the driver’s title
Yes, let‘s just say they were evenly matched all weekend and charles had the better qualifying (due to less errors by the team and driver, ferrari messed up sebs Q2 with the first outing)
"His Q2 lap was compromised"? Well that's his fault. I hate excuses
Leclerc didn't have to finish his run because all his rivals crossed the line before him and failed to beat his time. But he still continued on with the lap to beat his own time. That right there shows me the kid has killer instinct - showing he can up his game even when his rivals are already beaten. I will truly be surprised if Leclerc never becomes world champion. I expect him to win at least 2 titles.
The amazing thing is he didn't even need to do this lap. He already had the pole in the bag. Future champion right there.

It's so interesting to see how a much of a difference a car can make for a talented young driver. Congratulations to Charles on his first on many poles.
Great lap by Leclerc . I predict we will see a Monegasque driver on the an F1 podium tomorrow for the first time since 1950 when Louis Chiron did it at Monaco . Chiron of course went on to have corner at the Circuit de Monaco and a Bugatti road car named in his honour. If Charles keeps going he'll have things named after him too very soon. Also if Charles wins I hope the organisers remember they need to play the Monegasque anthem on the podium not the French.

Driving Masterclass in T1, good overall in T2 and a bit too on the edge in T3. Probably the tyres were progressively losing grip during the lap. Really great driver, great car control!

It may not be the strongest team , but Ferrari engine's sound is not a simple sound : it's like a song, like music , because it's totally different from all the others . Forza Ferrari e w l'Italia
Clearly all these people criticising sub didn’t watch all of qualifying. They’re only assuming everything was ok but they don’t know that Seb used 2 sets of tyres in Q2 due to being put out into the track in a bad position. This meant he could only do 1 Q3 lap

Overall Leclerc is a better driver than Vestappen without a doubt.
Yep, one pole and we already know this. Not. Bear in mind Verstappen has won five races with the Red Bull which is the third best car at best. Verstappen beat Ricciardo - who in turn made easy work of Vettel in Red Bull 2014, 3-0 in wins and 8-4 in podiums. If Leclerc beats Vettel as soundly as Ricciardo beat Vettel then we can talk. You know Jean Alesi outqualified Alain Prost in his 2nd race for Ferrari too... Gerhard Berger outqualified Senna too in their first race as team mates at McLaren.

You guys need to have more faith and better interpret team decisions... Charles will not be be asked to allow Seb to pass... In fact it is will be the other way round... Seb will be ordered to look at his mirrors at the start and leclerc to the focus on holding his place... After that may the best driver win... If Ferrari nail the start it should be an unchanged order to the finish.... Understand in terms of Australia that as long as the team has max possible points the racing has to stop.. U jus goto learn to suck it up... First lap and the finish with worn tyres is where such orders will be rightfully given... But the middle stint is where they will race..
I somehow never felt that he drove the shit out of that car... Like the feeling u generally get from Lewis' pole laps

Binoto and Wolff have got tough decisions to make with their 2nd drivers. Do they implement team orders in favour of Hamilton and Vettel or to they continue to let Bottas and Leclerc thrive. Both have proved themselves worthy IMO. Bottas won in Australia after a diffucult 2018 campaign whilst Leclerc put the Ferrari on pole on his 2nd ever Ferrari race.
Hamilton and Vettel should be worried.
NO. Lets just wait until the 9th or 10th race to judge that. Vettel and Lewis are both notorious for having slower starts(in comparisson to expectations). Once the good and the bad days equal themselves out we will have the same old same old. Im happy for leclerc tho.
