Panagiotis Papatheodorou Great Pole Position. Great first win. He was very close a number of times. This must be a relief to him. Incredible drive just after having lost his friend. He really has what it takes. Ferrari really needed this win. Strategy was just right. Looking forward to Monza. Will Ferrari perform again?

That car is a rocket on the straights, but the corners just kill all the advantage they get from the straights, you can bet they will be murdered in Singapore, but absolutely fly at Monza

@@ScottCyclops i think the renault have impressive straight line speed but at least one was involved in turn 1 carnage and was also slightly damaged, ric or hulk had to break because of verstappen and a force india reacted to late and hit him on the right rear

Anyway the Ferrari engine was ok, the fact is a spy showed all the projects of the engine to the FIA, that has said to change it for 2020 even if there wasn't specific rules that were against the engine, because Ferrari found a Defect in the rules
@@Steve-ph7qn When Ferrari found a way around the rules and used it to their advantage. Not cheating, loopholes are not cheating, they never were considered cheating and they never will. Props to them for finding the hole in the regulations.

1m3s - he only lifts the throttle slightly before he enters the ‚Pouhon‘ double left hander. and after the first apex and before the second apex he shifts from 7th into 8th gear. the Ferrari has that shift point almost exactly at 300 kph. meaning - he throws the car into the corner at almost 300 kph, with probably 3 to 4 G of lateral acceleration. unbelievable. he is an upcoming world champion.
TheColinChapman I think in circuit guides from like 2016, drivers have said they only lift slightly and either maintain 8th or just barely downshift one gear through Puon, meaning most of the drivers use the same technique. But BOIII did LeClerc use every inch of track and kerb!

Now, imagine this outstanding lap with that godly sound V10 engine from the 2000s...that's why I can't completely caught up with this modern F1. The sound played a huge part in the spectacle that was racing.

His stile to driving is a mix of stay on the limits and courage. The umpercettible car slide during the high speed corners in percorrence is outstanding equals to the best MS. And the precision to stay of the ideal line ... simply great.

They went 1sec slower in Belgium compared to Last year q2 time. The cars will not even Beat last years time in Monza only on downforce tracks the are going faster
@@vxVexom Bear in mind tyre performance is on average slower this year as the softest tyre this year isn't as soft as last years tyre choices and thus does not deliver the same performance in relation to grip
@@vxVexom they were slower around Spa because Pirelli decided to take the 3 hardest compounds, as a result the hard wasn't used once in the race and the qualifying times were slower than last year. Pirelli always fucks things up, they should have gone a step softer.

@Anurag Pirelli is FIA and Mercedes' pet, with other manufactorers Ferrari would choose them and become more competitive. They don't want good tyres at Pirelli and FIA but artifiical racing.
