    We need the acceleration and braking inputs "meter" that we had a few years ago to see what inputs the driver is making for that little extra bit of information.

      Imagine if Ferrari have just found something on the car and they go on to win every race left in the season. That would be a twist to what we saw at the beginning of the season.     This goes to show how confident and mentally strong is Leclerc right now: Losing the car briefly three times, which would've potentially ruined his lap, and never getting out of focus to keep pushing to the limit on each corner and ending up taking pole.
    I though there was only one driver on the current gird capable of going so on the limit on that one final lap to take pole, and today that driver finished second.

      to be fair, hamilton hasnt been amazing at qualifying this year. He has less poles than both leclerc and bottas who isnt even considered to be a very quick driver, so to say that he is that amazing wouldnt really be right this year. Not to say that he isnt extremely quick because you dont win 6 titles being a turtle.

      Too little too late. Hamilton keeps extending his lead over the #2 driver while time is running out in the season. Unless Hamilton DNFs he will win by 100 points.

      Tbh, I feel Singapore is more a power circuit than the downforce one we all think. Hamilton got pole last year with a car good on straights bad in corners. Leclerc did this exact same here.

      hamilton will win because the mercedes handles it's tires much better and max needs more hp for a track like this to really have a fighting chance, unless he can find a way to just outdrive the other guys and get killer exits but even still it's a big ask and will most likely chew through his tires trying to push the car through the turns to keep the pace in the straights

      It's not sandbagging they tried to swap upgraded front wings and floor in first 2 practice session but on the last free practice they decided to put the new floor and front wings together.

      @Alan Ali 11 Both drivers said that the setup wasn't in the right space yesterday. So hopefully they are able to get more pace out of it tomorrow. They also didn't run the new updates in combination in either session. They first did that in FP3. Now they are on Pole. So who knows what we have in store for tomorrows race. Its gonna be a thriller I hope.

      @@vberl9573 All will depend on how they react on the tyres..... in the beginning races they really couldn't get them warmed up properly. Especially Vettel. Last race in Italy the tyres seemed to go better for Ferrari..... let's wait and see.

    If Charles didn't get those wheel spins an that tiny bit of oversteer he would of gone into the 1:35.800's. Incredible lap.

      1:35.9 I think...at 50 sec it was -0.56 on the delta time and at the end of 2nd sector it was at 0.27

      Nope he was literally driveing on the limit.
      The guys driveing style just seems to be fitting the 2019 ferrari quite well (unlike "cpt. I need rear end stability" aka vettel).
      Put him in a merc and watch him getting destroyed by hamilton.

      Did you see those 3 mistakes by Charles, all because of rear stepping out, and that's why Vettel cannot perform as well, still hat down for that first lap, but once they make a car that is more stable on the rear, you will see what Sebastian can do, maybe even this season still.

      Stratowind yes but if they can storm trough the second half of the season and there are many hot circuits American Mexico Brasil where Mercs struggle a lot I mean we see what happens on hot tracks ferrai and Redbulls infringe it’s Very Very hard but not impossible anymore To challenge Mercedes for the championship But even if not they are high morales and fighting next season back

    UNPOPULAR OPINION: Maybe the oversteer actually helped Charles in exiting the corner at a better angle, I do this in F1 2018 a lot!

      First one maybe yes, but the second one didn't help at all, it just pushed him wide so he almost got into the wall, third one also didn't help because it's straight, you don't need angle for that.
