Max was only 0.02s slower than lando so still 8.5 tenths faster than last year. But Max didn’t push completely there because the gap was so huge that he didn’t need to.
The McLaren is the best car out there, don’t know why people are not accepting that. I am sure Piastri would have got into the top 3 if not for the understeer.
He was struggling in all practices and quali compared to Norris, let's see if he can come back in the race. Might be early to say the best car but they improve massively.
Im saying this as a McLaren fan, the McLaren is not better than the Red Bull but its pretty much equal. That said the McLaren is seemingly easier to setup and more composed riding kerbs. Both cars have strengths where the other has weaknesses balancing them out a bit and making the skill of the driver the difference between them. Should be a good race today!
I also think the McLaren is the best car. Max makes the difference with the RB. Checo isn't a bad driver, but can't excel with the car like Max can. Lando and Piastri are both equally good with the McLaren, so I think that is why it is in my opinion the better car.

If you don't get a tow then you got NO chance at pole lol ha ha!!! Get a great tow then put the rest of lap together. The should do reverse grid for qualifying. If you were 1st for Q2 you start Q3 last four the best chance to get a tow abs less likely to get a teammate to help you!!
No fucking way you just said the RB20 is a midfield car and ran away with it. It's no longer dominant (McLaren ahead), it has balance and performance issues most of the time, but it's still a championship-winning car

Great video as always! Are you going to make a turn 14 compilation? Russell went flat out through there (even faster than Verstappen because he arrived at a higher speed).
Problem is they’re two different circuits so the cars would have set up differently the last chicane means an additional focus on low speed traction compared to the current layout Additionally turn 10 was changed in 2021 from a shorter slower corner to a longer corner
Max had more in the bag in 2023, and those 10 degrees of extra track temp probably meant that by the end of Max's lap, the tire temps must've been through the roof
