im new in f1 area, can someone explain why they deployed safety car? Renault was already out of track, why did they need a safety track?
And also; is there a speed limit when safety car deployed or cars have to stay in the same positions as they are until safety car leaves the track?
@@AKagNA They deployed the safety car because they needed to recover the cars using heavy machinery, I think... google jules bianchi's crash. And yes, there is a speed limit, and drivers have to stay in the same positions as they were.
There was no reason to call the safety car in... They just saved him.

I was going to say as much but looked for someone else's comment on this first! Absolutely fantastic video and completely captured what we all felt in a nutshell. It's amazing, all of a sudden Ferrari have not one but two glimmers of championship quality drivers in their stable again - and one of them is a Schumacher! LeClerc was fantastic, this is going to be a passing of the torch season for him. I can see him getting at least 4th overall.

As much as my heart hurt for Danny, I didn't mind Renault nuking their engines at the last moment, that basically helped Charles clinch third position
Hulk deserved that race even more, than DR. The 53rd lap broke my heart. I was so incredibly happy for Renault.

Schumacher didn't exactly set the world of F2 alight this weekend, so he needs to improve dramatically if that's gonna be the case.
@@martywolfman dude. It was his first time ever in a f2 except from the 1 training day. Give him time. He won f3 also in the 2nd half of the season last year. And it's 400 HP more now for him. Just give him time but try not to rank him after his first time in a car like that.
@@martywolfman Give him some time, in Formula 3 he also didn't deliver immediatly. He's racing agains experienced F2 drivers with multiple years of F2 experience, getting 8th and 6th the first weekend is a promising start. How it will evolve...no one knows. But if he delivers in F2 he will get the chance of Ferrari (via Alfa Romeo or Haas), that's for sure.

You can’t deny Lewis no matter what you think of him. I don’t like his personality but he’s definitely on the list too. Compared to his direct rival (Seb) he is just on another level mentally and in terms of racecraft and consistency.

This an an awesome way to do a race recap. Even after watching live, seeing the onboards and team comm highlights, I felt like I was on the edge of my seat again.

Its amazing that even though he lost the race through no fault of his own, a race that he would have undeniably won otherwise, despite that, he still keeps a level head and blamed nobody. I can see this guy becoming one of the most likable drivers, if not already.
