    The Samsung S lines are LDAC phones. I have LDAC in my S23 Ultra.

    I'm always enjoying the video.
    Thank you.
    I am a subscriber who watches your videos in Korea.
    I'm inquiring about something here.
    Currently, the product is installed in my vehicle as follows.
    DSP Amp : Musway M6
    F_Woofer : Ground Zero GZNK 165
    F_Tweeter : Ground Zero GZNM 80SQ
    Sub Woofer + AMP : Musway P2 + MF108Q
    I recently felt the need to upgrade the sound.
    I've met several tuning engineers, but I feel sorry for them.
    What I'm curious about here is not DSP AMP
    If you configure each of the DSP/power amplifier separately
    Can I hear a better resolution sound?

      The gear that you have is very good. You should have a very nice sounding system with a correct tune. Assuming the install is solid. Tuning can transform a system😉

    Great video as always! My Android headunit doesn't have optical out. Would this work with Android via USB input to send optical to my Match UP 6DSP?

    • @sbeezynukka
      @sbeezynukka Месяц назад

      Not unless your usb ports can be used both ways. Put something on the head unit’s internal storage if it has it and see if it lets you send it to a usb, If so it’s possible,if not then I wouldn’t want you to waste money. But at the same time you probably could add an optical out if you’re handy with a soldering iron

    So, will usb in and optical out be best?

    • @RAW-CAt
      @RAW-CAt  Месяц назад +2

      Yes, but LDAC is very close. If you want USB to optical only, there are cheaper devices.

      @@RAW-CAt no it's not close, cable is much better ! Me and my friends tested this with tree different phones, an Iphone and two Samsungs. Iphone sounded the worst by far, bluetooth AptX HD and cable too ! The cable was a little louder and cleared on his phone, but not by much(maybe 20-30%) , but on our Samsungs it was night and day.. If the first place on bluetooth was the S24 Ultra(the ultra series are well known for their bluetooth quality), who was a little louder and clearer than my S23(a decent phone too), both Samsungs were waaay better than the Iphone. But on cable my S23 was better than the Ultra, probably because my usb pro app :D Followed by the ultra and the Iphone was far behind...

    LDAC has 3 mods, natively is in the adaptive mode which is not really the best, like 330 kbps and rarely change the bitrate up automatically. In the 660 or the 990 kbps mode is the cleanest and measure even better, according to RTINGS. This mode can be switched in the developer mode on Android devices. AAC is a psychoacoustic codec and it measures strange, but definitely better than SBC.

    So with this Ldac I can now stream my tidal hi res from my iPhone 📲 and it will now be able to actually stream hi res music without a cord 👌🏽 thank you so much. I will use a optical cord to my dsp , but how did you power this in your vehicle?

    • @RAW-CAt
      @RAW-CAt  3 дня назад

      For power you will.need to use a DC/DC converter same as for any of your dash cameras that convert 12V to 5V USB. Unfortunately you won't be able to use LDAC with an Iphone, as Apple does not support this codec.

    In europe is 50€

  • @ubacow7109
    @ubacow7109 Месяц назад

    So LDAC is actually natively supported by Android by default. Samsung sometimes bias's the codec functionality in device because they have some internal codec & chip that they use for Samsung specific devices (TWS, Speakers ,etc..) Samsung wants their devices to bias to their devices so you buy their family/environment of devices. Apple doesnt support LDAC natively and they prob never will because for the same reason as Samsung, however you can always buy 3rd party bluetooth DAC devices to connect to your phone to give it LDAC support.

  • @bobgodd

    Samsung phones have had LDAC for several years now. But I'm guessing you knew that based on all the comments.
