    I just returned mine today, its a great device with a beautiful screen and I love the New magic keyboard but it does all the same things my 2020 iPad Pro does so I don't think its worth more than double the price, I will keep my older one.

      I still have a few days to think about it. Have a 2020 12.9 and really like the 11 M4. The problem is that it won’t support the new Apple AI since it doesn’t have an M chip and don’t see the point of buying and old M1 or 2 after seeing the screen on the M4

      Hey there! Thanks for sharing. Yeah I totally understand that feeling, except that I'm passed the 14 day return period and honestly, gotta keep this thing for science (not complaining). Is there a point you think you would upgrade, or are you going to hold out until the a12z dies (which might not be for a while 😅)

    I have an 11” iPad Pro M2, upgraded from a 2020 11” iPad Pro. I use it with the Apple Magic Keyboard and I use it a lot more than I use my laptop. I have an iPad Mini that I use when I want a tablet, and a 16” MacBook Pro M3 for my laptop. I’m thinking that the 13” iPad Pro would be a solid upgrade for me, since it has the OLED display, the camera on the horizontal edge, larger (and nicer) Magic Keyboard, and of course the M4 chip. The 13” form factor makes it more portable than the 16” MBP, and gives me a full-sized keyboard and larger display. Your video was really helpful. I’ve subscribed and don’t know why it took me so long to find your channel!

    • @gcaleblee
      @gcaleblee  7 месяцев назад

      Hi there! I’m super impressed by your lineup as you have a lot of bases covered. The 13” is indeed more portable than the 16” MBP, but it’s a funny middle ground between the MBP and your 11”. The 13” really just feels like MacBook Air in dimensions, but with a superior screen and a more fun form factor. But with that said, it’s a question of whether you need to fill that hole between your 16” and the 11” iPad Pro you already have. If you like the 11”, I’d suggest considering upgrading that to the M4, unless you know you real like the extra real estate on the 13 (which I absolutely love). Thanks and glad you found the channel!

    I hear ya about the sizes being a little too small or a little too big for me. A 12” would’ve been ideal for me too. I also wish they had implemented a standard 16:10 aspect ratio like Samsung does on their tablets. Content watch would be so much better that way.

      You know this is a really good point. The tab s9 or s10 ultra really fills a hole that the iPad can’t. I don’t know too many people who would want to own both, but if you do, there is definitely enough difference between the two to justify it, considering Samsung’s dex and better aspect ratio. Thanks for the comment and it’s now making me think what will become of this 13” when the new s10 tab ultra comes out…

      @@xekeys Hey there! I feel your frustration with the sizes. What kind of work do you get done at the coffee shop? A 13” iPad Pro is honestly quite portable, but I sometimes feel a bit of regret not just getting a solid 13” MacBook Air for this price, especially when I want to get some heavy work done. But for procreate, you may not need a iPad Pro, perhaps just the iPad Air? I know that’s 2 separate devices, but if you’re coming from a desktop, perhaps having a dedicated laptop might make more sense. If you’re set on an iPad Pro with it’s Magic Keyboard, then the 13” would probably be a workhorse and a great toy to carry around, although you are sacrificing some portability vs the 11”. Also the 13” screen is first class, despite any regrets I may have getting the larger one, the 13” screen always just feels superbly premium. Hope this helps a little bit!

All 99.9% other people are better of with much more powerful programs on a MacBook. Even if you travel a lot, the smallest MacBook air is not much bigger and heavier than iPad with a Magic Keyboard.
