    I did a 3 hour test ride with my wife on pillion last October (2023) and ordered one the next day. Arrived last week and I've already done 330 miles including commuting and leisure. Lovely bike to ride. Even at running in revs, it has plenty of acceleration for real world riding. I know from the test ride there's a lot more to come after that 1st service. Gear box is a bit busy: 6 gears, but it will sit at 30 mph or so in top. I'm 5'7" and can comfortably put one foot flat and support it with a pillion. I've owned and ridden bigger bikes and smaller bikes and this might be the best of them. This one handles well, accelerates well, is comfortable, well equipped, and looks good (mine's black). The motor is smooth and easy to manage in built up areas and the bike sits comfortably at 30 mph when required, but can put you up to motorway speeds very smartly indeed. The screen is quietest for me on the lowest setting.

    I have had mine for around 9 months. I have had the seat customised, added the number plate tidy and a Radiator guard. Next on the list is heated grips, belly pan trim and some colour coded bits for my panniers. Love the bike. A great all rounder.

    Saw a new ‘22 the other day at the dealership for $4800 with all luggage. I paid $9600 for mine a year ago. Kinda made my gut turn.

    Take the speed twin for city traffic, 2 up riding, and control . Ok for mountain Twisties for single riding

    I really wish they made the dash at least 20% bigger

    I'm 5'8" so might be a bit short, but it's not too heavy. I quite fancy the Trident but this may be a better option for longer distances.

      With adjustments you'll def get on well with it.

    I mean, I wouldn’t pay what Triumph is asking for the extras. Barkbusters, Oxford heated grips, Shad racks & boxes…I mean, you’d do better and pay half price? Cross-shopped this with a Tracer 7 last fall and while the Tracer came up top these are great little bikes.

    In terms of ergonomics, do you reckon 6'2", long in the leg would sit well on the bike?

      @BikeMatters  9 месяцев назад +3

      Alex at 6'3 was comfortable, and Felix at 6'1 was comfy too! You might be in the sweet spot.

      I used the configurator and the price of the bike FULLY loaded came to £12.7k with the most expensive paint combo too, but the thing that was still missing was the lack of cruise control that Alex mentioned in the review. Why did Triumph miss this? Can Triumph retro fit one later on as a paid accessory and ECU firmware update? Or will we see it added to next year's model? So so close to being THE perfect middle weight tourer.

      We think it's a miss too. Hopefully something we'll see in the next year!
