    I own a tiger 660 sport in Lucerne blue which has a host of accessories fitted and its my first Triumph. This is a great bike to own and ride and has a lovely exhaust note when wound up. Superb to ride as i have the low comfort seat fitted and it makes for a great daily and a weekend machine. Great video to watch .😊

      I love the blue too! Super to hear from an owner Gary 👌 it’s a great all rounder. Triumph nailed it and again my fav bike so far in 2022

    Biggest complaints I have read about. Is the seat no cruise control? The 2024's do not have ED grips. As a standard option, the windscreen is too short and too skinny. The rear shock, although it has preload. It's simply not enough the dive in the forks.

    I tested one and I would say that I hated it to much wind buffering it was not pleasant to ride when I had it for my test ride I had watched a lot of reviews of which they all seamed to say how great it is I even spoke to an owner of one his words were when you try one you will end up buying one well me and my mate had two bikes out for two hours as we both wanted to try this bike well I could not wait to get of it and try the other bike that we were given to ride and that bike I fell in love with straight away I didn’t want to give that one back that bike was a 765 street triple RS it does everything I want it to do I have toured on it putting luggage on it was a challenge but with all the soft luggage about it’s doable so for me the tiger 660 is a boring uncomfortable budget bike. A few years down the line will probably make a good cheap winter hack

    You forgot the Vstrom and the Transalp. I'd still take the Tiger though.

    Picking my 22 reg 660 sport up on Saturday 10/12 after it’s had a fair few accessories fitted.
    Chose this over the Yamaha Tracer GT which is hitting the dealers in April 23.
    Think from all the reviews I’ve read it’s a bit difficult to choose between the two so let’s hope I’ve made the right choice.

    Just like you wanted a smaller tiger, I want a Street Triple 765 'RR' version :) Hope 1200 version sells good and maybe they will launch a 765 RR in 2023 - 24

    3 cylinder is good, I actually like this softy elegant engine sound, and bike looks handsome, but in Türkiye, there is 650cc tax limit. Nobody wants to be on higher tax range just for 10cc more. I wish to have a Honda CB 500X, but not sold in here. Honda sells 750X, but this one also on higher tax rage and only 54HP, good side is low fuel consumption. The options left are new Jawa 470cc, Benelli TRK 502X and one more I do not remember.
    If it had been just below 650cc, low fuel consumption, with some nice panniers adventure would be nice. Also easily and cheaply set up for A2 licence, and higher would be nice...

    • @MOTOUK1
      @MOTOUK1  2 года назад

      In U.K. they tend to aim 660 cc bikes for the A2 licence holder market, it’s all different from country to country. Shame the use cc and not BHP in other countries

      @shabs2134 2 года назад +1

      What about V-Strom 650 or Versys 650? Both are great and fall just under 650cc capacity. Both can take panniers and give you an adventure.

    I can see why the centre stands are now defunct, but why so many bikes without clutch adjustable function, probably because of quickshifters and blipper ready kits, nice bike and well worth the 8 and a half, dealers should give paddock stands to the buyers as a little thank you for your custom, the Trident, in it's present format, I thought would be a bit on the small size for an Adventure bike, however, wait and see.

    • @MOTOUK1
      @MOTOUK1  2 года назад +1

      Yes I do like to see an adjustable clutch after all we all have different sized hand reach. Don’t think it affects the quickshifter/blipper as clutch less shifting. The Aprilia Tuono 660 Factory next week has a quickshifter/blipper and it’s a cracker too. You need to hear the noise of that bike at 6k rpm, I don’t know how they do it from a parallel twin. 👌 no the size is perfect for the Tiger 660. I’m starting to think a 660 cc engine is perfect for the road now. Still not selling my MT10SP though 😂😂

    I'm currently on the Street Twin...considering this bike. Any pros/cons between the two? Which would you go with?

    • @MOTOUK1
      @MOTOUK1  2 года назад +1

      Both great bikes, Both different bikes in terms of style, Classic or Adventure style. The Tiger 660 is a do it all bike, could be the only bike you need. Better for the taller rider over the Street. As mentioned both fab machines depends on what you use for and which style you prefer. The Tiger Sport 660 is definitely my bike of 2022 so far though. 👌
