Getting on a bit in years and was looking for a light sport tourer, and not particularly interested in the liter bike options out there today. This bike looked to be the right fit, so I purchased one recently. Cruise control would have been nice, and, as noted, the windscreen is bothersome. It has plenty of punch and it handles like a dream. I like it better than my T120 Black. Very happy with my purchase. Thanks and stay safe.

Hi David, Firstly thanks for watching, I really appreciate people taking their time to watch my content, and also thanks for your comments. It’s difficult to review bikes without offending people sometimes, I so glad you’re enjoying your Tiger Sport, it really is a great bike and I think like you’ve found, it will suit a lot of people who don’t need a rocket ship. Keep safe!

I traded in my T120 Black for a graphite Tiger 660, and I am really happy with my decision! The Tiger is a nice little road bike!

@@Nancoman I thought about doing that as well and I still have my T120 Black, but have promised the wife that it won't be staying in the garage. I'm trying to figure out a way to keep them both. I find the T120 is great for a relaxing Sunday afternoon ride in the country. The TS660 is a great bike and perfect all-rounder, but I still like that Steve McQueen look and relaxed cruising.

I bought one 2 weeks ago. I enjoy mine. I use it as a “second bike” to keep miles off my other bike which is about 3X the cost. Interestingly enough, I find myself wanting to ride this one all the time and don’t care to ride the other much at all. Maybe that will change, but for now I am absolutely keeping miles off the other bike.

Hi Jay, it’s funny isn’t it, I’ve been riding big powerful bike for years, but I feel I’m rediscovering the joy of smaller bikes, rev em hard, throwing them about as they handle so well, definitely a lot to be said for lighter bikes. Thanks for your comments, more midrange bikes coming soon 👍

My first street bike and I absolutely love it. Had to pay a little more here in the States but well worth it. Craftsmanship and quality top shelf!

I'm getting older, having had plenty of biger bikes such as GS1250, Africa twin, 1200 Explorer etc wanted a simple fun and lighter bike.
The 660 is perfect for me, added the quick shifter and changed the levers and screen.
Cruise control would have been nice to have as an optional extra, maybe there was a tech reason why they couldn't ?
Overall I'm really happy with the 660.
When people say its only got 80 bhp, remember 90% of people can't use 100% of their bikes capability your probably get closer to that on the 660 though 🙂

Hi Steve, glad your enjoying your bike. I couldn’t agree more with your comments, and the views I’ve given are from my own perspective but I have tried to guide on who the bike might suit. Lease Lee watching, more on the way soon 👍

I own a lucerne blue Tiger sport 660 and i have a few extras fitted including the Blue tooth module which has the option of self cancelling indicators which i find really helpful when out and about. I too owned a yamaha fazer 600 about 20 years ago and i found that the triumph is todays equivalent of that bike. A great review and have now subscibed to your channel , really enjoyed watching this video.

Watched lots of reviews on this bike and even test rode one. Your review is spot on and like you I found screen noisy in the high position but ok in lowest. Also wished it had street triple engine as it was a little lacking. Otherwise good bike and very much a modern Fazer. I knew someone who had one 20 years ago while I was riding a GSXR600 and he was older and loved that bike. Only later do I realise what a great bike that really was. Please do more reviews and can you test the Ninja 1000sx please 👍

I’m picking up a red one on Saturday 10th December, it’s in the process of having a few, well actually a lot of accessories fitted.
Trading in my BMW F800ST as I wanted a higher up bike and after riding this at the NEC motorcycle live event I found it very good especially at very low speeds.
Seen lots of reviews and everyone seems to think this bikes a hit.
    Let’s hope they’re all right.

Hi I am thinking of getting one where I live in Sweden it’s 109,000 sek which is a great price , But when I add on panniers top box heated grips it’s starting to get expensive , nearly 150,000 krona which pushes it out of my price range ( shame really) oh well I’ll keep my 955i tiger for a few more years or wait to get a second hand 800tiger with everything included 😊

I'm really considering this bike to upgrade over my z650, which being naked, is pretty bad for long ride, which I like to do. Other touring bike tend to be too big compared to this. The only reason that give me pause is that it does not really have the reliability reputation of Japanese bike. But other than that, it's hard to say no to this.

    • @sweetrides8418
      @sweetrides8418  Год назад

Hi Amirul, I’m not aware of any major reliability issues with these bikes, or Triumph in general, so should be ideal for you 👍

Hi, it’s ideal for someone who has just passed test and got a license, great riding position, not too heavy and just enough power. But it’s also fun for more experienced riders that can extract the most from it. Thanks for watching and please subscribe if you haven’t already as this helps me to provide more content 👍

Pilot road 5 are a great tyre even used them on track on a street triple 675R (my favourite engine)
. I agree if they used the 675 engine in this bike it be perfect. But then you need to upgrade everything else so then price go’s up to. 🤔
Maybe somewhere between a tracer 07-09

Hi PNH63, in new bike terms, yes this is a budget bike, with most bikes now costing between 10-20k the Triumph at under 9k is viewed by most as very good value.
Thanks for watching and for your comments 👍

It’s definitely not an off reader, but it’s not supposed to be, not really sure why manufacturers insist on calling bike ADVENTURE based solely on riding position 😂
