    Okay, so I own both this bike and a Bonnie T120. I like them both, but I absolutely love my TS 660. Light duty sport tourer with the panniers and top box. Take them off, they're quick release, and now we're ready for some downright spirited riding. My only complaints are the missing cruise control and the wind protection has given me some trouble at 6'2". I put an aftermarket windscreen extender on it and that has made a big difference. BTW, my wife likes the pillion seat and has commented how comfortable it is. Sadly, I'm probably going to sell my T120, but if I can only keep one, then it's definitely the TS660. Thanks so much for the review, it's a really great bike.

      I'm not sure if I've rode the 120 yet, I do own a T100 and love it. The TS 660 is one of the few bikes that I think would work very well as an all around do everything motorcycle. It is on my short list. Love it!

      Is the windscreen extender a Triumph part or did you find one that fitted?

    72 yrs. old, started riding at 14. Need a sickle w/ upright position. Your mention that this is a universal motorcycle clicked in my head that we have been missing this class of bike for many years. I have a Honda ST 1100 that is way too heavy , and this Tiger is able to be picked up if it falls over. [ post surgery back pain]. Thanks for saddle bag shots.

    • @forgottenmotorcycles

      It is a great bike with an upright seating position, good manners for riding and plenty of smooth usable power. Love this bike and do think it's one of the best bikes out there today. Wish it had cruise control. The bags that are available for it are very nice and will hold a full face helmet. I like them. Wahoo!

    I just brought this bike home a week ago today! I'm a new rider and I'm short, so I needed the low seat. I've only ever ridden Triumph bikes, so maybe I'm spoiled. My other bike is a Scrambler. The 660 Sport is so great in the turns compared to the tall wheel of the Scrambler. Love them both, but as I get more familiar with my new Tiger, I think he'll be my favorite bike! Looking forward to when the panniers come in, because they are also a handsome feature of the bike! Thanks for the review. Seems everyone loves this bike if they're looking for a sport touring motorcycle at a great price. Also, I don't miss cruise control as my Cramp Busters are a super cheap fix.

    • @forgottenmotorcycles
      @forgottenmotorcycles  2 года назад +1

      It really is an amazing bike...at any price and is on my short list. If I needed a new bike today this is the one I'd pick up. What color did you get and which Scrambler do you ride? Also, where about you located? Wahoo!

      @@forgottenmotorcycles I have the blue 660 w/ panniers to match & a light kit on order. My Scrambler is a 900, Sandstorm Edition. She makes me happy and I fell in love on sight. I also have a Speed Twin in my garage, but it's not mine. However, the Speed Twin is what made me want the 660 Sport. I wanted the combo of nimble in the turns and a bit of wind protection, plus touring capability. I live in Central PA.

    Great review, I do remember testing a Street Sport 675 some years ago, same engine I believe and was put off by the vibes coming through the seat around 60-70 mph. No mention of vibes with you, maybe more work has been done with this 660 motor and now cured. Also it seems it's taken for granted the neat engines on these bikes. I know a lot of work was done with the development of the engine to hide pipe's etc. You do note the neat lines on the bike and the engine is sitting there smart and unclutted. My biking days are over but if I could would have one of these tomorrow, a well engineered do it all bike.

    • @forgottenmotorcycles
      @forgottenmotorcycles  2 года назад

      They must have fixed the vibs from that earlier engine. This one seemed to run smooth. I'd say they have created a great all around street bike with the new Tiger Sport. You are correct, that engine is magic. Only real fault I could find with the bike is its lack of cruise control. Love this machine. Wahoo!

    Great review - My next bike, without a doubt but just need them to make one murdered out in all black so hopefully that's the case for the 2023 model - Need to scratch the Triumph and Triple itch. Props to Triumph for taking the standard, the Versys 650, and making it exciting (more horsepower, great stock rubber, and arguably better looks, etc)

    Great video sir, I'm collecting the keys to my tiger 660 sport tomorrow (Saturday) morning. A couple of points to mention it does not have a centre stand and cruise control is not an option. But Bluetooth connectivity and a quick shifter is available for this motorcycle. To improve your videos you might like to upgrade your audio as you can't hear the engine of the bikes but commentary is excellent, also lose the background music it was annoying.
    Hope this helps 🙏 ☺.

      Congratulations on the Tiger, they are amazing bikes. I've been trying to figure out if I should get one myself...just not ready to give up my current road bike to do so. Hoping that in the next year or so they will add the cruise control option. What sealed the deal on this bike for you, what got you to make the buy? And what color and options did you get? PS Where did you get your bike too? The video: audio is an ongoing struggle and I'm working on that. Also, I don't think I'm crazy about the music either...that is actually me trying to play guitar. Really do appreciate your feedback on this. Again, congradulations on the bike. Post some pictures of it on our Forgotten Motorcycles Facebook page, I'd love to see it. Wahoo!

      I think it would do well with an extra tooth up front if you were looking for better road performance and a mpg increase. It did fine on the bottom end with its close ration gear box so I think you could live with it okay.
