You can see how hard Geoff was hit by Etika. He genuinely thinks of his guests as his kids, as much as he does the main group.
He may "Not be the best dad in the world", but there can be no doubts of how much he cares and tries to look after those in his charge.

AH has helped me and so many others through hard times and its a side of Geoff you dont often see and its also somewhat inspiring! Like Jeremy was saying, it doesnt make you weak for having mental health issues, and seeing them talk about and the emotion they are showing whilst discussing it, it is hard not to have a tear in your eye. I will forever love AH! And to anyone suffering, stay strong because tomorrow is a new day and i hope that new day brings joy and happiness to you! To add a bit to what Geoff and the others said toward the end, if you're in a stable place and you have people in your life who struggle with depression or suicidal thoughts, please ask them what you can do to help them. Be available as a friend, be compassionate and be there for people. We're all in this together, and we can get through this together. You might not be a doctor, and don't try to replace one if they need that kind of help. But you can be a friend, and a friend is something that can sometimes be the difference between life and death.

And he’s not around is strange. When he died I knew life had to change. I had to start taking better care of myself. I started dressing better, eating better! I started dating again and it really got me to realize how fucking amazing life is. In the time he’s been gone(He passed September 2nd 2018) I’ve really improved life. In relation to what they said at the end, I think we as a community have the potential to be so much better. I know we're all completely different people with different opinions, but I think we can all agree that we should still have some humanity and compassion when it comes to the way we speak and behave.
Not in a way that's policing what each other say, just agreeing that we could all have a bit more sympathy and empathy, especially when we criticize the people providing us with free entertainment and essentially enriching our lives. Not to say constructive criticism is bad or anything, it's necessary, but if we could all let some anger go when we do it and be kinder.
I'm reminded of how Mika was treated, after she spoke about her personal experiences as a black woman. Hearing about her suicide attempt makes me grateful that she's still here, and regretful about how myself and others reacted to just her having the nerve to talk about her experiences on what we feel is a comedy podcast.
Let's all remember our humanity, and remember the people we're watching are humans like us, and we all feel emotions, we all feel pain, and happiness. R.I.P Etika, I hope we can all learn a lesson from this tragedy.

Most can ignore it, let it roll off, or even laugh at it. Some can't seem to do that.
I've personally fought those demons myself (not bullying per se), just lost hope and faith in everything and everyone. Josh Jenkinson-Milne Ive learned that people on the internet are just fucking awful. You gotta work to find a good place where people aren’t awful to each other. That’s why I like AH fans and RT fans because it’s rare now to find a group of people who love the people that put out the content and they are supportive of each other as well for the most part.

I began following Etika's career after being introduced to him by you guys, he was such an energetic, talented and passionate human being I couldn't help but smile and laugh every time I would catch him reacting to stuff on his stream. It's so sad to hear of his passing but I am glad you guys brought it up and talked about the issues surrounding mental health. I truly do hope someday people will be a lot more compassionate whether it be in real life or on the internet. Take care guys and love you all. Rest easy Etika

Nicely said about Etika and mental health in general at the end.
I doubt I'm the only one and I'm sorry that I have to say this, but after his breakdown in late April, I can say I was shocked to see the headline on the 25th... but, I wasn't surprised to see it either. I was honestly expecting to see that headline a few days after that stream if I'm perfectly honest. That was sad to watch and it was even sadder to see the way he acted after leaving the hospital at NYU. He really needed serious help, it's sad to see him (and anyone) else think that the only solution is a permanent one and act on it
I hope he found the peace that he couldn't find here.

That last bit of info there was very heartwarming and wonderful to hear. I have seen friends of mine lose those close to them and I know it isn't easy. Just make sure that you know people are willing to talk, are willing to help, and are willing to be there in your hour of need. You don't need to walk that kind of road alone. Suicide is a long term solution to a short term problem that people are here to help you with. You deserve to live a life of happiness, and if you need help getting that life, get help. My heart is out for Etika, for Achievement Hunter, for you guys, and everyone else. Love you all, guys!

Geoff, a man who has made me laugh to the verge of tears for almost half of my life has made me cry in a different way today. Life is so beautiful, and honestly, I am so grateful to be alive today. I reached out for help, and I had to swallow my pride, and accept that I had a problem, and that in itself was enough to get me back on the path. Please heed Geoff's words.

Great work guys. Thank you for bringing mental health issues to light. It is a tragedy that something such as an amazing influencer losing their life due to such an issue is saddening and I am at a lose of words.
I myself have gone through this and what they have said is 100% true. Speak to someone, let the people around you know how you feel. I am lucky enough to have met the man who saved my life with me to keep me grounded. Depression, anxiety, all forms of mental health needs to be recognised.
Working together to bring awareness to such a major issue is something we need to do together.

Everything said about Etika and his loss at the end was heartwrenching and important, things we should all remember, and things that were, although tragic, nice to hear. We need to take care of ourselves, and take care of each other. I was shocked how much i related to what Jeremy said; that is exactly what the start of dealing with mental illness was like for me- realizing that i shouldn't be sad all the time, i shouldn't be thinking about suicide all the time. There's a better way to live, if i just ask for some help.
