I'm glad you guys brought up the fact that cable would be an omega level mutant where it not for him having the hold back the technorganic virus all the time.
That depends upon the writer. Both pretty much exist in their own story bubbles, but Man-Thing seemed to be relevant outside of his area of lurking when he teamed up with Blade and all for that team-up. You know, from a horrible monster that you grow to have feelings for to being a heroic partner on Blade's team. I guess the Marvel guys didn't want DC's Swamp Thing to be a better swamp monster character than Man-Thing or something.
@@That80sGuy1972 it is funny you say that cause the creator of man thing was actually working on him at the same time swamp thing creator was and i believe they were friends and worked together hence why both characters released in 1971 with only a few months between them. nobody was competing there.
I wonder what Hellboy & Lobo look like in a comic book series & then a original Ghost In theShell/Akira animae no holds bar? Maybe bringing Frank Agent of shade.
Whoever did the research for this needs to be fired. Dan Ketch was the 90s Ghost Rider, Michael Collins was the 90s Deathlok, and Abbatoir was NOT Azrael's friend.
Bloodshot didn't become a mainstream guy until the post 2K movie. If you want to include him, you have to include Hellboy, which had comics in the 90s but movies before him... and Hellboy, aside from being an older toy, is a hell of a lot more interesting. Well, subjectively speaking. If the standard is "forgotten", then Bloodshot also does not qualify... because the 2K movie is quite a reminder. That probably qualifies as AT LEAST a comeback. Lobo was never forgotten by the comic book community. He has an immortal fan base that won't let us forget, I am almost one of them, despite his fans being a relatively tiny circle. That's why the virtual femboy reimagining of him was fan-pressured into being murdered by his OG version. Duke Nukem is a great character. His comeback is murdered by both the people who would love him and how the bulk that those would love him are pretty much hated by anybody else with the cherry on top of everything is that having a raunchy sense of humor is something almost everybody lost... save for the unapologetic people being total scum who reinforce having that kind of sense of humor is being bad. Society sucks now. Be human, have a normal sense of humor, and everyone from every side hates you. Razor? Really? He's a space filler character for when writers have a block while new comic issues need to be made. Random characters from the program that Black Widow, Dr. Strange, and Iron Fist went through would be far more interesting. He was probably put in place for at least one of those comics with someone saying "NO! We will not use Whiplash again... and don't you dare use a crappy Wolverine knock-off like Owl."
Wow you iss represent Lobo completely. Have you EVER read one of his comics? Not the new dc bs. But the REAL Lobo... Nah, you just read whatever weak, ill researched script they throw in front of you...
Batman: "So what's the plan?"
Jonah Hex "Plan??? We put 'em in the ground..."

Very cool! Some of these I hadn't heard of before.❤
Stone Cold Steve Austin Not Comics But Still a character who took over the late 1990's the best of the best
Austin 3:16 say I just whooped your a$$!!!
I like this list!! Keep up the great videos.
A live action lobo film done right would be amazing
@Odin's Follower I think David Harbour would be good, he isn't young but not over the hill a d he was great in the film violent night
@@mikeoxmall7917 Oh yeah! David is an awesome actor!!
Finally a video that suggest some of the best characters out there
How was Cable a forgotten character from the 90s when he was in Deadpool 2? That seems like a pretty current reference to me.
I’ve been wanting a lobo solo for the longest. The dudes a menace.
Does Werewolf By Night And Man-Thing count as Anti-Heroes?
Man thing is a pretty hard neutral character. He really only kills or fights when people invade his territory. I don't know a whole lot about WBN.

@@RaginCanadian-gx2zl Competing during character development, not creation. Writers do that over time.

Dam lobo is the ultimate fan of the band immortal for sure

Good vid. I enjoyed this list. 😊
Dan Ketch was the 90s Ghost Rider, not Johnny Blaze
Ghost Rider 2 just ruined the possible movie sequals!
To check out the greatest possible Duke Nukem reboot, look up the Duke Nukem episode of "Story Break". I would be first in line for that movie.
I thought Jonah Hex had some powers?
90's Ghost Rider is Danny Ketch, not Johnny Blaze.
I demand "reproduce" video on all these characters immediately
Great list.
Umm Actually, Lobo was the ONLY violent Czarnian.
Why are there Comic pages for Marvel's Deathlok during the discussion of Frank Miller's Marv?
Edit: Aaah. Foreshadowing.
I'll get hate for this, but was hoping to see the 'edgy' Fate, Jared Stevens.
Whos the purple guy supposed to be on the thumbnail?
Superman needs long hair more

It was bullshit when hbo canceled spawn over production issues.
kinda lost me when you lead with lobo. that's not a forgotten anti hero. lol sounds like lazy research.
Wolverine and Punisher ran the 90s. All other "anti-heroes" are copies.
Lobo is in tons of shit
These are all great potential franchises but Hollyweird is so broken right now. To be blunt woke + antihero = 💩
The punisher is the best anti hero
