THANK YOU for not editing the thumbnail. Dozens of videos always edit it to making it look orange when in reality their hair is already light blonde. This video is truthful and straight to the point
OKAY thank you this is so helpful I hope someone sees this lol. My hair is a light orange now from bleach 4 times, would this Wella 050 from there help? I'm trying not to bleach my hair again but when I try to research the answer I always get it 'go to a salon'
I just used this toner for my orange colored hair it worked some miracles. I had black professional hair dye in, I am going for bleached tips so I can put in some purple. I had to bleach my hair 4 times and I had luck with very little damage . My hair was about as bright orange as yours was here, used T14 and it evened it out perfectly so I can put a pastel purple 😊
@@monicacoello5305 for toning I use 20 volume developer. The brand doesn’t matter. I usually switch it up between Ion, L’Oréal, or Redken. After you empty all your toner into a bowl, fill the container it came in with the developer twice. The formula is one part toner, two parts developer.
Naturally dark brown >> black hair dye >> 3 rounds of bleach, lifted to orange >> T-14 (full bottle) + 1/3 or 1/4 bottle of 050 + 10 vol developer, let process for 20 mins >> dark very warm blonde. Cute.
I'm a dirty blonde but my hair still went orange in the darker areas, ontop is the lightest. But yea its a mix of yellow and orange tones, thinking I'll have to bleach it one more time.. a week and half later probably, and tone again as well see what that does
Fantastic video, thank you. Bleached hair at home with box dye and now it's yellow-orange (expected) but I've never used salon-grade products before so this has helped me understand my next steps. So many videos go too far into it and I'd get overwhelmed. This is short & sweet, and contained the exact info I needed. You rock!
Thank u so much 😭been experimenting with so many different dyes because no one showed how to tone copper/orange/yellow hair only platinum blonde. I feel like you just exposed a secret that hair styles didn’t want us to know
I’m about to try wella blonder permanent toner on the ends of my hair for the first time my hair was bleached long time ago and what’s left at the end is orange blonde. I’ve herd great things about it so all just have to see!
Just used this technique. After numerous other methods i tried failed and several color removers, left with orangey hair. And now its not!!!! Thank you for this video!
Girllll! Use loreal color remover packets next time with lvl20 developer it'll save you the first 2 bleaches. Use twice if you need to. It looks great tho mama good job!
Very helpful because your hair color before bleached #3 is the color I have now, so I know that I need to bleach again then tone, thank you and beautiful job🥰
For anyone, something that has helped with my hair! I had extremely orange hair with yellow roots and I had the stupid idea to add blue and purple food colouring to my white hair mask and blend it. I never thought that it would be working but after 3 weeks (I wash my hair only once per week and then with this mask over night) turns out my orange hair was actually almost brown with a little shade of red and my yellow hair was actually toned. Just make sure that your mask does not contain silicones/sulfates or parabenes. Let me know if it worked for you
@@silviafrid6970 tbh i used too much of the 050 but not even as much as she did and it turned my hair green!!! so i had to bleach the toner out and then it was a decent color lmao so i would say be very careful using the 050 because i used a different blonde wella toner without that 050 added and it worked great months later
Yes!!! I could kiss you right now haha .. I have used colour remover to get rid of my black hair dye then bleached it three times in one day (I know professionals reading this will tell me off) .. I was orange and yellow it was pretty horrendous. I watched your video so many times to get it right and today I have finally removed all the orange and evened out the yellow. I do have some grey tones to the top of my head and the lighter bits but I actually don’t mind it. I know it will gradually tone down and it’s better than having ugly orange hair. Thankyou so much!
Thank you so much for this video! I followed your directions and my hair came out so pretty with lighter ash blonde highlights. Exactly what I wanted. I had a lot of red orange highlights in my hair after bleaching it about a month ago. I tried so many things I bleached it a second time, tried two different toners (not t14) that didn’t work so I tried a boxed ash hair color (I read this works to neutralize the color) but that just made it worse. So glad to have found this video. I can’t afford the $180 to do my hair so I won’t be scared to color my hair again now that I know what to do.
Thank goodness your video was short and to the point and made a mistake /a miracle my daughter made be fixed lol 😂 I was able to tone with your suggestions and she loves it!✅❤️🔥
Whoa I thought quick blue was strong. I was gonna try it but Satin blue powder gets me to that second result with just one use with 20 vol. Guess I'll stick to it :p Anyways, thanks for sharing :)
Any advice? I used the T14 and four cap fulls of 050. I left 30 min and now my hair has some blue tones. It did take out the brassy Orange. There is some ash but way too much blue. I’m wondering what I did wrong. Maybe I shouldn’t of use the additive or left too long. Thoughts? I’m wondering if the blue tones will die down. Ugh 😩
Clearly you got it fixed but for anyone else wondering The 050 is suppose to make ur hair silver/ grey so it might leave blue hues Just use a 10 developer instead of 20 and itll be less likely to happen
@@kozykasmr Dont panic. A hair stylist at Sally’s recommended I wash my hair a few times a a good clarifying shampoo and baking soda. But to be careful of drying my hair out. I get T14, because it's the bluest one they make, I think. I used some 050, too and it seemed to make my hair warmer/ maybe more orangey? I don't know. But I can't stand orange or red in my hair and it always goes that way, especially on new growth next to scalp! Grr!!! Hi, what was your bleaching technique? Did you bleach 3 times in one day? And were you doing the roots, mids and ends at the same time or leaving the roots for last? I’ve got to get my hair to this color! Thanks! 😊
Hi! I waited a couple days between each bleach soaking my hair in coconut oil trying my best not to damage it, i waited for roots to be last and did the mids and ends first.
Hey! The T14 can only cancel out so much orange so if your hair is a very pale orange the t14 should be enough on its own but if its a darker orange like mine was the 050 really helps with that rather than just t14
Please ...just a question...after achieving this result how do you maintain it?you need to bleach your roots and tone every time?or fo you buy a color?
hey question girl , is this your first time dying it to that orange ? because i just went from black to that orange and i hate this color so idk what to do
If I have uneven bleaching of pale yellow and orange like in the video, could I apply this toner all over and it’d give an even blonde or is that bad and I should only tone the orange this way and make a different mixture for the blondes? HEEELP❤
It depends on the developer you use. It could even it out more with a 20v developer as it will lift the darker colors. It also depends on how much of a difference in tone between the orange and yellow. If it’s a big difference then you might have to pick out the orange and bleach again or maybe try a color remover if it’s previous color in there. Am I able to use toner without bleaching right before toner ? I bleached hair and didn’t use toner , now thinking I should . Or do I have to bleach and use toner ASAP ?
The difference between 20 vol and 10 is that 10 will deposit color on your hair. And 20 IS LIKE you dye it. So if you go wrong it's gonna be imposible to remove. But if u go wrong with 10 vol. It will fade away in 20 washes or so. Also 20 vol open the cuticula of your hair every time you dye it. So if your hair is already dry it will kill it. For toning you should use 10 vol. Or less. Or try a shampoo. Les than 10 will fade but at least will not ruin your hair.

Would a 20 vol developer be ok for this? As I got the Wella colour charm 20 developer sent with my T14
The difference between 20 vol and 10 is that 10 will deposit color on your hair. And 20 IS LIKE you dye it. So if you go wrong it's gonna be imposible to remove. But if u go wrong with 10 vol. So the salon lied to me and told me I could tone orange hair…
You need a toner with a blue base to neutralize orange hair. Toners with a purple base will neutralize yellow hair 😊
